Has suffered from pandemic lack of use. More attention needs to be paid to room smells. Living room was a very nice experience. Close to Grand Central. Very few open restaurants in the vicinity. Midtown is in the dumps right now.

First stay in NYC, central location and great view from my room on the 26th floor! Free cold water on the floor and good common spaces. Although it was pricey, New York is too and this was a good place to be overall.

It is a great hotel, room was comfy. I guess since Covid the lobby is small with no dining area. During my stay, it was comfortable but front desk staff were not nice, I felt like I was being rushed. You have to be cheerful and let your personal problems aside and be professional in any job. Side note. Hopefully the dining area will open again soon. Thanks for the stay!

This hotel is perfectly located. value, I would have paid quite but more, but glad I didn't have to! The rooms are spacious for NYC standards and include a table with electrical outlets, a corner sofa, a microwave, and a mini fridge! The bathroom is well porportioned and this hotel includes all the Memories, including washclothes and soap, shampoo, bathroom cups extra. This hotel goes above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed, beginning with the friendly staff and night security\doorman. Not that security is needed a the neighborhood felt safe and residential, with many places to eat and drug store and even a bath and body works nearby. Also nearby is Grand Central terminal and Madiaon Avenue and 5th Avenue retail ships, along with Times Square and Broadway blocks away. The best part of the hotel for me, besides the well appointed room, was the 27th floor terrace. My more routine became walk a few steps across the street to Dunkin Donuts for a bagle and then up to the 27th floor for a free macchiato or cappuccino to enjoy the city scape outside on the terrace. Quite a few evenings, after arriving late at night, we would crab a slice of .99 pizza and a $1.00 soda from a Ross the street and enjoy it on the terrace amongst the lights of the city sky line. The staff responded quickly to my text messages regarding questions and a request for extra towels. Overall I have no complaints and really enjoyed my stay!

The hotel was nothing like advertised or the photos. The rooms smelled of mildew and other bad smells. There were burn marks in the room and broken items. When we demanded to be moved to another room (we were already paying for the biggest suite) the next room was exactly the same. The hallways also smelled and had blinking or broken lights. I was with my family and we had a second regular room for our nanny that was even worse. The smell was so bad we couldn’t even stay at the hotel. We checked out immediately and booked something else. A huge waste of time in convenience. I would not recommend staying for any reason.
