The front desk people here are very friendly when you need anything. But the accommodations assume that you will not need a lot of assistance. The walls were thin so you can really hear when someone opens that door but it is New York so you can expect it to be a little loud. The hotel is pet friendly which is great for people with dogs. I know it can be difficult to find a pet friendly hotel. The downside is when someone brings their dog that doesn’t stop barking all day which was my experience unfortunately. You cannot get a better location since it’s so centrally located in the city. I was in a superior room and was impressed with the smart design of every aspect of the room. I don’t know if I would have wanted to stay in a smaller room though. Note that there are two types of superior rooms. One with a kitchenette and one with a sofa bed.…
I don't do reviews, but for this one I had to! I am a native New Yorker and every now and then, I like to get away from my home but still feel close by. This hotel has some of the best staff I have ever encountered. Elizabeth was one the persons who assisted me throughout the weekend. She was kind, sweet and most flexible. Elizabeth was full of much personality and she truly made the stay worth wild. She literally was remembering every persons name in the hotel during their stay, INCLUDING MINES! She was honest about my room and the options available to me because I had gotten there a tad bit early. I am a frequent traveler and I don't think I have ever met a hotel personnel like her EVER. My fiancé was running a little late and they made sure once he got there he was taken care of and he also was treated well. I definitely plan on escaping here again. The location is easy to find, the food in the area is great. I ordered food multiple times during my stay and the front desk was so kind about holding it and making sure it got to us clean and safe. This place is perfect for traveling couples and families, friends, business trips, and just a simple getaway. Don't hesitate, it would truly be worth it!…
The location, room and the view from our floor and terrace was amazing. Really enjoyed the place. The most valuable part? Elizabeth B., She is so wonderful, employees like her make it 5 stars. Thanks so much!
Helpful, friendly staff, very clean quarters, nice room design, comfortable bed, great location near Grand Central Station. Staff accommodated request for quiet room. Covid protocol very thorough, which was reassuring.
Had a great stay in midtown — small rooms but some great views of the Chrysler Building. The hotel was busy by covid standards, but everything felt safe and the room was super clean. Elizabeth at the desk was fantastic!
