I was sure I would get to a hotel that didn’t look like in the pictures because it happened to me with a lot of other hotels but I was completely surprised! Although it took me a while to find the hotel because the front door is not impressive in size but as soon as I entered the hotel everything was run quickly and efficiently. The check in took exactly a few minutes and everything was clean and tidy in the small lobby. Everything was modernly designed and inviting. The elevators worked neatly and I did not have to wait long. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was neat, clean and fun. There was a stunning new and refurbished walk in shower, the bed was comfortable and there was an air conditioner that worked great. Although the room service comes to the room to make the bed etc once every three days but I did not really need it. I heard no noise from adjoining rooms or outside. I enjoyed every second and I will totally be back to this hotel.…
Thanks to TripAdvisor we found this great hotel in prime location. We had taken train 🚆 up from Wilmington to see the Winslow Homer Exhibit. Our room on 18th floor was conveniently ready when we arrived. Nice king bed with luscious linens and pillows. Nice bathroom amenities with a great and forceful shower!. Concierge lounge with coffee machine on 27th floor and vending machines and ice on 3rd. Water bottle stations on every floor. Kuerig coffee machine in the room. Great breakfast (Little Collins) lunch cross street at Poke bowl and dinner at la Gondia near by. Employees very friendly! Recommend and we will definitely return. Not a bad walk from Penn Station. This hotel is a very good middle class hotel. The rooms are big compared to New York standards, are very clean and the bed is comfortable. I been in the 6th floor and couldn’t hear the street so the windows are good isolated. 27th floor has a beautiful roof terrace without service but you could bring your own drinks and enjoy the view. Additional you’ll also find a coffee machine (good coffee), lounge seats and work tables. The service is very helpful and always friendly so you feel welcomed through your stay. A little bit annoying are the noices inside the room (AC, something in the bathrooms). Despite all these benefits the most IMPORTANT and the reason to book this hotel is the location. It’s perfectly located for a sightseeing trip. You reach everything in minutes and the view from the rooftop is amazing. My stay was absolutely worth it and I can recommend this hotel for everybody.…
Very disrespectful. I checked in yesterday, but today when I came back, the key wasn't working. My wife is pregnant and was feeling ill, needing the bathroom. I went to reception desk and the guy in charge said I didn't have a reservation, questioned how I got Access to The room, asked for my ID. I showed everything, The ID, The reservation confirmation number and He still took all time in the world to give me acces to the room again.
Beautiful, clean hotel, cozy modern room with comfortable bed and perfect location just steps away from Grand central station. Rooftop with complimentary expresso coffee did additionally enhance the experience. Just loved it!
I stayed for a couple of nights but was very nice my stay at Hotel Boutique At Grand Central. Close to great attraction as the time square, close to good restaurants and the subway. Very nice and clean room and the staff super friendly. I recommend and would stay again!
This is an OK hotel in a really good area. However, Room 707, the room I stayed in (I do not know of any other room), is showing wear and tear. Will it make your stay impossible, probably not. Will it ruin a vacation, probably not. But, you should be aware: - the AC unit did not work and I woke in the middle of the night sweating - the filters in the unit are very dirty as I also woke in the middle of the night congested; the symptoms disappeared after shutting the unit off and opening the window - a framed item was destroyed at one point and maintenance left the four mounting brackets on the wall, which makes it look worse - don't think of using the desk as the lamp has been removed from the wall socket - the wooden frame around the TV was broken and repaired with brown glue - the "make-up" mirror in the bathroom has been used so often that the paint behind it has been scrapped away.…
Stayed in this hotel for 4 days and it was actually pretty good (for the price paid). It is not a luxury place to be, but i was not expecting it to be. The rooms are nice, quiet, spacious and have a microwave (which comes in quite handy sometimes!). The service was friendly although there is only one person working downstairs, which means it can take a while if there is a lot of people. There was also no housekeeping for the 4 days i was there, so not sure if this is a service they don't provide or they couldn't be bothered. The terrace on the top floor is great and a good little space to take a break and have a coffee (although the machine seems to constantly be out of milk). I found it slightly difficult to find the first time around as there is only a tiny plate by the door with the hotel name, so not really easy to spot.…
I was in town for my birthday, needed a place that wasn’t too far from everything. This place was it and then some, staff were nice and the Lounge view is amazing for breakfast/ relaxing. The checkout/check-in process was seamless and everyone was quiet and to themselves!
This hotel isn't quite a 4 star but nonetheless I was very happy with my stay. The location is excellent and its very easy to get to Grand Central and the Subway from the property. The room was clean and well laid out and had everything we needed, except fresh air, the window didn't open and the fan in the room was either boiling or freezing, no in between. Unfortunately we also had a view of another buildings air conditioning unit. There's also a serve yourself coffee bar on the 27th floor, which has great views, and free filtered water on every floor which I wish more hotels did. The wifi worked well and there was a TV with plenty of channels, there was also an option to cast from my phone but I could not get it working. Overall, whilst not a 4 star in my opinion, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and thought it excellent value for the amount I paid,…
