So I initially booked this hotel with air b n b. When I arrived I was greeted by Elizabeth and she informed me she could not find my reservation. I showed her my Airbnb confirmation and she informed me that they do not work with Airbnb. I called Airbnb and they informed me they would have to look into it. Elizabeth was literally amazing she felt so bad about the situation she ended up giving comping the room for the night with no questions asked. She even sent a bottle of wine to the room. Elizabeth also gave me a voucher for discounted parking. Even though the check in was a little rough to start, Elizabeth was literally amazing, she was the sweetest person, had the best personality, great customer service skills, very accommodating, very personable. I’m very thankful that Elizabeth was at the front desk that evening. Elizabeth proved that this hotel cares about their customers and is loyal to them! The hotel itself was clean; followed Covid guidelines, and in a great location!

Honestly I wasn't sure if this hotel was what I was looking for but Elizabeth the employee made it the best experience for my husband and I. I wanted to surprise my husband and Elizabeth helped me make it happen. She was polite, helpful and so nice. She suggested a room with a nice view. The next day she gave us a good place to have breakfast. Elizabeth is the only reason I would come back to the hotel because she was helpful.

The rooms are small, but clean and well equipped. The service is efficient and kind. There is a 24h living room and terrace at floor 27 with free coffee, soft drinks, fruit and snacks, plus free wine at 5pm. Location is perfect for exploring Manhattan.

This hotel hit the mark for me. Close to Grand Central Terminal, clean and affordable. I booked through expedia, so I was warned I would get charged a resort fee, so that was about USD20 a night extra. I guess that was for the Club room on level 27, so fair enough. The view up there is nice, there are free snacks until about 8.30pm. You can probably get your monies worth out of drinking pepsi, coffees, lollies and biscuits that are complimentary on level 27. The room I knew would be small (based on reviews). I did not mind that as I was travelling solo and spent most of my time being a tourist in NYC anyway. You can hear your next door's guest phone alarm go off, but again, I take that as standard travel noise. I outline partial downsides in this review, despite giving it the highest mark, because I want readers to fully understand what is there. I got this room at a great rate, so being price sensitive, this place was a win win for me. The porter storing my luggage for the day was also very helpful and I was able to wait in the club lounge after checking out (to wait for my shuttle). That is nice as you can still use the amenities on level 27.

A terrific value in midtown Manhattan -- across the street from Grand Central (dinner at the Oyster Bar!). The rooms are spartan but comfortable, the space on the 27th floor is delightful. It's a no-brainer.
