Stayed here for five nights over the St. Patrick’s weekend, and I can’t fault it. Yes the room wasn’t massive but when I was awake, I was out in the city so it didn’t bother me (and while I didn’t have a view of Central Park, again I wasn’t bothered about that either) but it was in a great area with good connections by foot and subway to anything you would want to see (I got the subway to Brooklyn and the southern tip of Manhattan while staying there) I was slightly disappointed that the rooftop bar was closed for refurbishment but there are plenty of other places within walking distance and the staff were all first rate either assistance whenever I needed something. It was very reasonably priced compared to the other hotels in the neighbourhood I had looked at, I hope to go back soon.…
Stayed 5 nights for biz and concierge was super helpful. Shawn the bellman was also awesome and made stay so easy. Would def go back . Great location and Marriott Bonvoy points! Only thing to be better would be later hours for lobby bar.
Spent 7 nights here and I am about to check out I reluctantly write this AMAZING review as I want this Hotel to be the best kept secret in NYC Comfortable rooms, outstanding services and staff! Definitely will come back!
We have been traveling to NYC frequently lately and the Le Meridien Central Park staff always go out of their way to make us feel special. But this review is a special shout out to Carlos the bellman. He is incredibly helpful, warm and friendly. I am always very impressed—and touched—that he remembers me by name. This past visit, I became ill and had to leave a night early—Carlos was so helpful in getting our car for us, getting our luggage from our room and loading it into the car. He was kind enough to ask if I needed anything before driving home and said he hoped I felt better quickly. It is small, personal moments like that make a difference and make us feel well-cared for as guests.
This property has a phenomenal front desk staff at all hours of the day. While the bar leaves a lot to be desired with high prices (expected) and incredibly limited options , the rooms and the overall service are topnotch for a business hotel in Midtown. Bravo Le Meridian!
I was here twice in February and have an upcoming stay in March. Le meridien NYC Central park is a truly exceptional place to stay. But what makes this hotel different from other hotels is the staff. I had a credit card problem and Mr. Bryan Fox, front desk manager, fixed it right away. He was very attentive and courteous. Also, When I checked in, Mr Bryan Smith, front desk staff, greeted us with big warm smile and responded to any needs. They both made my stay memorable. Also, the breakfast is good in the first floor. I think it is called ‘King restaurant’ I would come here anytime over other hotels in NYC. Exceptional Staffs !
Perfect location for a performance at Carnegie Hall. The concierge Dana was warm and secured a dinner reservation at an incredible restaurant at 10:30 pm on a Sunday. Made for a perfect night. Highly recommend.
The location of this hotel is ideal. The condition is . . . Better days to come. But what it lacks in modernization and style is made up for 100 times with the people. I've stayed a few times and in January 2023 I faced being incapacitated and in great deal of pain whilst staying at this property. This team could not have been better and more kind. And 2 people in particular made what was an awful time so wonderful. I have to call out the Manager, Chisom Okafor. She is so kind and generous and could not have been kinder. Then there is the Concierge, Dana Steer. This man saved me. He went so far and beyond I couldn't believe it. I appreciate the staff so much and their kindness is unending.
The Hotel, the Location, the ReceptionStaff are great but Chris, The Concierge, was amazingly helpful with every issue that came up during our stay. He did the greatest job. Thanks a lot. We will definitively come back!
I gave this hotel two stars for location and management assistance. The room was described as "cosy King" and as upgraded with a park view. "Closety" would have been a better description. The view was of the tops of some trees through buildings. The stopper in the bathroom sink was missing-fortunately we didn't drop anything. No way to get change at the front desk. Worst Marriott property at which we've stayed. Waste of points.
