The Staff at this hotel is the friendliest in New York City. It is very nice to be greeted everyday in New York City with sincerity and helpfulness. There is always fresh coffee, tea, or water available in the lobby. And this hotel has a hidden gem patio lounge!

Booked for a break on the 27th Nov to 30th Nov. Never been to New York or America before so was really looking forward to going with my partner. Location: The hotel was roughly 1.5 hours away from JFK airport (depending on traffic). We got a shared shuttle from the airport which dropped us off right near the hotel. The... More

I know that the hotel standard in NYC is quite poor in general (or rather, good quality is very very expensive) but out of three different NYC hotels I stayed in this was the most disappointing. The location is superb - that is the one big plus. It is close to everything, but still not in a noisy area. There... More

The staff was excellent and helpful. The location was great. The coffee/tea bar in the lobby as well as the complimentary (although somewhat sparse/basic) breakfast buffet was nice. The big problem is that there is apparently no service elevator so give yourself extra time in the morning or take the stairs. 4 out of 5.

My wife and I spent 4 days in NYC. We stayed at the Best Western Premier at Herald Square. Centrally located to all the NYC sites. The hotel room was EXTREMELY clean on our arrival. Fantastic location. Staff was courteous , noise factor was s problem. Water pressure was weak and washroom was a little tight. Need to address noise factor and water pressure. Also need to provide better options for breakfast. Lounge was great.

I found the Best Western Premier Herald Square very conveniently located and quiet. I particularly liked the fact that it is not one of these huge hotel complexes with hundreds of rooms. That is also reflected in the good service the attentive staff provides around the clock. Rooms are tiny but cater for all the needs of the average city... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
