Manhattan Hotel Located in Trendy Lower East Side
Discover the culturally rich Lower East Side of Manhattan, widely known for its excellent cuisine, cutting-edge art scene, exclusive boutiques, live music venues, and magnetic nightlife. Steps away from the Tenement Museum, Katz Deli, Little Italy, SoHo, Chinatown, East Village & NYU. Travel like a local on the subway, only one block away with the F, M, J & Z trains that will take you to the most exciting attractions in the Big Apple, including Times Square & Wall Street.
The Holiday Inn NYC - Lower East Side is conveniently located near SoHo, only 9 miles from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and 12 miles from JFK Airport (JFK). We are at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge so you can take a stroll across and explore all that Brooklyn has to offer.
Hotel itself was fine at best, but nothing to be excited about. Comfortable room with effective AC. However even in a room at the end of the corridor, I was constantly woken by noise in adjacent rooms and the halls - clearly the walls in the building are paper thin. Convenient location for all of Manhattan’s attractions, however the area didn’t feel safe at all. Even on the short walk to the subway, I was regularly harassed by the same shady characters that seemed to congregate on that stretch of Delancey. I avoided being anywhere near the hotel at night, which admittedly wasn’t difficult in such a big city! Overall would likely look to stay elsewhere if I came to New York again.
Very pleasant hotel. My family and I stayed for three days over Thanksgiving. We found the room, while small, was easily sufficient for our needs. Frig, microwave and TV all worked beautifully. Ideally located near the F train subway stop, which serviced us well, there is a nice deli around the corner. The hotel staff was kind, pleasant, and housekeeping was spot on. The room was spotless. The efforts by the hotel staff is really what made the difference for us. As someone that has worked in hotels for 25+ years, my experience told me this property is very well managed, based on staff responses to their responsibilities. Keep up the great work. We’ll be back.
I am a frequent NY visitor and prefer staying downtown, this hotel was a great location. Subway entrance literally 100 yds away, used the F train to/from LGA. Lots of neighborhood eateries, had breakfast at Remedy Diner on Houston several times, late night pizza and snacks right outside the door on Delancy. Walking distance to Soho, Chinatown, and Fidi, easy connections to other areas. Room was efficient, clean, and comfortable plus staff was always friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Great staff. They tried to get us a 2 bed room even when i only paid for a single bed room. The hotel itself is good, clean and basic. I dont expect large rooms in New York City, and this was a normal New York sized room.
Nice location in the lower east side, you need a key to get into the lobby after hours which made me feel more secure. Room was basic but fine. Heating and cooling worked well and check in/out was easy. Otherwise not much character but that was not expected
Everyone on the staff that we interacted with were excellent. Helpful and friendly. Good location (we were thrilled to be less than 10 minutes walk from Katz). Clean lobby and room. It was raining when we were there so didn’t enjoy the outdoor patio area off the lobby, but would be lovely to enjoy it on a sunny spring day.
The location is terrific. The staff is wonderful - polite, and efficient, and the place is very clean. The room is well laid out and has all amenities you could want, including a coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge. I am extremely sensitive to noise, and I knew a quiet room in NYC would be tough to find. I got a deluxe king on the 6th floor facing Suffolk Street, which is considered less traffic than rooms facing Delancey. Even so, with earplugs and the double-paned windows, the noise was tough for me. The manager Dawn took my feedback beautifully. For my next stay, I will get a smaller room facing the courtyard, so no street noise.
My wife and I stayed at the Holiday INN located on the Delancey street Lower East side. It was a great location for us. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Near friends and family.Clean room, clean linens, nice room, but room carpet needed some cleaning (shampoo the carpet)Hotel staff very professional. We would stay again.
Hotel staff was lovely. Dawn & Gabby took great efforts to make our stay wonderful. Quick easy check in, clean rooms, quick elevators, nice rooms. Our large party got our request for rooms close together and extra surprise in the rooms for our birthday kids. We always felt safe during our visit and would recommend this hotel.
