Best Wyndham hotel in New York, hands down! Jaimie was exceptionally welcoming, I was honestly suprised as how she went above and beyond to make me and boyfriend feel special during his first trip to New York, the front desk and security were all excellent too but a but a big shoutout to Maria who checked us in, such a positive attitude and great spirit! The suite we stayed was so complete and comfortable that I joked to my boyfriend a couple that I wished that was my apartment in NYC. I will highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends from Florida that are going to New York and I will definitely go back again. Thank you, guys!
These guys unintentionally or intentionally do it all this COVID year to lose clients and go out of business. And they should - from now on I will never ever stay at Wyndham brand anywhere I booked one week of stay with them in New York hoping for a larger, condo like room. I moved out after 3 nights: - That area, Midtown East, is very bad now - empty and a lot construction going on - Hotel itself had some renovations going on, they were moving in/out furniture and it was taking 20 min to get an elevator each time - From prior reviews I knew that they would also try to sell their timeshare; but sales person was really really annoying and persistent (I had to say “no thank you” at least 19 times), I guess he works on commissions but it looked bizarre Fun part started upon check out - not only they did not offer any partial refund for not used 4 nights, but reception people pretty much did not even try to accommodate and said “you booked on Booking.com so to us you are staying for a week, we can not cancel” Just look elsewhere …
Received an email about the changes due to COVID. Decided I wanted to cancel. called the place in Nice, Ca told to go through the booking agency " Extra Holidays". No phone number to contact, no working links on their site to cancel or contact. When I call the message is "if your reservation isn't with the next 72 hours please call back again....but no one every answered. Their message also lists 2 different times they are open on the east coast. I stayed here with an owner once before, but I'll never go through this again. And Raine, at Nice, was snippy, uninformed and overall not helpful
Among lots of restaurants and easy to get to attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Had great suggestions and very attentive to us. Unit was very spacious and clean. No comments. Elvis was a great source of information and would like to thank him again.
I stayed here for business at the end of February and whilst in a nice and ideal location for my daily travel to the Consulate and the UN there were a few things that I felt could of been done better. My room was not attended to during the three nights that I stayed there nor were the sheets and towels changed during this time. There was a team that were strategically placed trying to persuade you on a constant morning, noon and night to get you to agree to attend a breakfast meeting to agree to some sort of timeshare. Although comfortable in the bed the room was ridiculously warm and even when I mentioned this nothing was done and there was always a constant noise in the lobby.
