Have stayed at Four Points for 10 days this November. Do not expect too much regarding the room/facilities. But service is good, room is clean and it is a very good location next to most NY attractions.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Four Points Chelsea. Going in, my expectations were very low based on previous experiences with this brand and based on the low price (you pay for what you get, right?). My expectations were exceeded and I'd stay here again if visiting with a budget in mind. First, the location is excellent if...

It is a good hotel, in a good location, very close to subway stations on the 23th street (1 and 2 - 7th Avenue), (C and E - 08th Avenue), (N and R - Madison Sqr Garden). If you are willing to walk, it is 6 streets from Penn Station, 2 avenues from Madison Square Garden (Flatiron) and Union Square...

When we travel, we usually do so for leisure and prefer our hotel choices to be design-centric and engaging. While in New York for work a few days before Thanksgiving, the concern this time was more proximity to a conference than the hotel furnishings. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay here. Check in staff was great and the...

You'll quickly appreciate the proximity to the red, blue, and yellow line stops at 23rd, all within two-three blocks. You can get practically anywhere from here! The rooms are tiny, but this is New York, so there's no escaping that! And on our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation, but who wants to stay in the hotel anyway?

Nice enough property. Not a place to kick back and luxuriate or entertain in. It is clean and modern though. If you're in town for sightseeing or hanging out and won't spend much time in your room but still want a nice place, this would be a good pick for the price and location.

SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF make up for the small hotel. The Chelsea Four Points is located on 25th St. between 6th and 7th Avenues (closer to 7th). The hotel is quite small (8 rooms per floor) and I believe has about 20 floors. I think there may have been some kind of outdoor pub or something as you enter...

Made a last minute reservation and joined preferred guest club so we got a nice rate. So while it's not $1000 a night hotel, it was perfect for what we had in mind. Staff was awesome and because it was our anniversary they gave us a very nice welcome including rose petals on our bed, fruit and champagne. Dominique, one...

arrived to be told the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, completely out of order i thought. when it was booked the company should have stated it was shut. instead we had to go out for breakfast every morning, which wasn't an ideal situation the rooms were very good, tea and coffee making facility and free water, bathroom was nice, although...

It is hard for me to review it since we didn't realize when we booked that the restaurant was closed for improvements. After an email exchange with the manager I found it had been stated on the hotel's announcements page but I have never thought to click through to an announcements page - now I know. The rooms are clean and...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
