Hotel's Favorite
The staff is always helpful. The rooms are always clean and exactly what is described and shown on the websites. The only issue i have with the hotel that i have noticed has been happening all across NYC. Is the guests that check-in. Not the crowd that you would normally see around the area. LOUD... HEAVY STENCH of herbs, just feels like SUGAR FACTORY all over again. Again the hotel cant control that.. unless wait you raise the prices to deflect that crowd. Just a thought.

I stayed in this hotel despite all the terrible reviews i had seen- i thought I would give it a chance regardless of this. The room was ok at best, the view made up for it. What really was shocking was the front desk manager who to this day i still dont know his name (maybe it is Adam?) because he never introduced himself. He explained why there were multiple holds on my card- he admitted that it was the front desk agent’s error as he did not explain this to me. He said “you travel enough to know about the holds.” He continued to look down on me. At the end of the conversation he walked away and audibly said “unbelievable” to the front desk team there. As a gold member i expected a decent explanation and not to be called unbelievable. Fyi if you want to be respected just don’t come to this hotel.

Great location! Giving the hotel 3 out of 5 for a few reasons. First, the common areas and rooms are in need of an update. The rooms aren’t bad, but they aren’t good either. Dated carpets and furnishings are really starting to show their age. The views from higher floors are amazing, so that is good. The second main complaint is temporary I imagine, and that is that nothing in the hotel is open because of COVID. No gym, no lounge, no restaurant, no room service. If this was June 2020 I would understand, but it’s June 2021! Everything should be open.
