I hesitate to review as I’d like to be sure I can always book this delightful accommodation in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. This was our third time staying here. Tony the host is warm and welcoming and so accommodating. The Inn is clean and cozy, very reasonably priced, and offers both shared bath rooms and rooms with private baths and there are also suites available. We enjoyed our free continental breakfast in the inviting lobby before starting our days. Within walking distance of the fabulous Highline, the Chelsea Market, Greenwich Village and more..we had much to do and see right in the neighborhood. At the end of a full day, we enjoyed the roof deck and views from atop the Inn. As an active senior couple, happy with casual and affordable accommodations, The Colonial house is a perfect choice for us!

I have had an opportunity to visit Newyork for business meeting and i stayed in this hotel for 1 night, out of all the hotels i have stayed in my life i have to say this hotel was the best, i myself being a hotelier for last 12 years with luxury brands i have to admit that the way i was being accommodated it shows how the values and hospitality standards are being followed here, it is a small property but lobby is extremely beautiful, with elegant decoration and LCD tv and sophisticated designs, i stayed in a suite which was very comfortable and elegant, above all Manager Tony was very helpful and accommodative, any time you would come to reception he would welcome you with smile, with an excellent sense of humor and welcoming gesture it adds a vast touch in the experience, i also want to thank the wonderful Owners of this beautiful hotel for being on top of all the facilities and for making sure that every guest enjoys the personalized service, i wanna thank everyone working in this hotel also for organizing this beautiful small retreat for business travelers to enjoy their stay, definitely coming back and going to tell my friends, colleagues and cousins to try this nice hotel.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in Colonial House. The very welcoming team made our stay feel almost like home. It was a lovely quiet B&B arrangement, not a mad house and it felt just right. The location on 22nd street was perfect to start all the many walking trips around Manhattan. I realy recommend Colonial House Inn.

I always stay at the Colonial House Inn when I'm visiting New York. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the location excellent; easy walking distance to Macy's, the restaurants and bars of Chelsea, the Meatpacking District and Greenwich Village and the theatre district. A pleasant buffet breakfast is available and there is a free happy hour with snacks in the early evening.
