Just want to thank Monique specifically for going out her way to changing my room to suit the needs of my friends. The room I paid for wasn’t what I thought it would be and I was a bit disappointed, she called moments later to check in and I was honest with her and she asked me to come down and she actually gave me a new room, a better room. I definitely would go back. True hospitality. We had a comfortable stay. Thank you Monique
What an absolute disappointment this hotel was. I chose to stay here because of the beautiful rooms displayed and the free parking. First off.... they don’t want you using the main door or they’re not just leaving it open they want you and everyone else touching the revolving door. Next was anytime going to the front desk the line had at least 8/9 people in every line. And only 2 sometimes 3 if you were lucky people working the front desk. The Room..... checked in booked an executive room... realized when we got into our room there was nothing executive about it... went back to the front desk and were told they other half of the hotel is closed that’s where that room is.... so I asked for a nicer room. The man said the only thing nicer was the bathroom. That’s not true. And you can’t ethically be booking rooms that you aren’t offering! The room was blah. Definitely needed updating nothing special about it. No robes as advertised. No blankets! I was freezing all night. 9:00am Here comes housekeeping.... it’s 9:00am. Requested late checkout 3 different occasions upon booking, before arrival, and when checking in. So when I went into the city then came back and found myself with a disconnected key card I was less than pleased. See that all of my belongings were still in the room. If you can’t offer what you advertise then show what you are really offering. I went to college for hospitality management and was completely dissatisfied. I will not be giving this hotel “another chance” as there’s plenty of hotels that have integrity in the city.…
Without going into specific details of my experience in this hotel, my initial intentions of rating this hotel all changed because of the few minutes of phone conversation I had with Ms. Sue Ellen this morning. She truly was the calming to my storm and I hope she knows how appreciative I am of that. She did what no one else could have done for me. She listened to my issues without ever once interrupting me; she expressed her apology and desire to help; she resolved my issues all while being professional and respectful. If I had not spoken with Sue Ellen, this review would have been a totally different tone of language and rating with further action taken. I thank you Sue Ellen and I hope your seniors know what an asset you are to them. Be well and stay safe.
I have tried repeatedly to move my reservation dates due to COVID and mandatory 14 day quarantine for Floridians, but now with the lack of safety we would prefer a refund. Why won't anyone address my emails or voice mails? Terrible customer service.
The rooms look nothing like what is on the hotel website. I think the hotel spent the entire budget on the lobby but left out the rest. As soon as you enter the elevators, be prepared to be transported back to 1970. Furniture is all scratched up. Wall paper peeling and rust stains to accent the bedroom decor. Huge dark stain on the carpet (not even going to question it), bathtub would not drain, TV did not work and the phone is unplugged from the outlet so not even sure if it will be able to dial out 911. At this point, I am just glad we are only staying for one night. Oh , forgot to mention that they do charge a $35 a night resort fee and no free breakfast. I am still trying to grasp the resort part because I felt like I arrived at a hotel scene straight out from American Horror story season 6. I even paid extra for a deluxe room so I can only imagine what the premier rooms will be like. …
