I have stayed here more than a few times and each time I am noticing the prices keep going higher. It's a very small hotel compared to the typical Midtown offerings, which I like. The staff is always super friendly and the facilities are amazing. I always stay in the sleep share room as I can not afford a regular... More

Dear BennyHay7, Thank you for your review! I'm sorry to hear that you feel our rates are increasing but that's really not the case. We're super conscience of making sure our product is competitively priced and based upon my research we most definitely are. I got caught in the Jonas Blizzard last weekend and booked a room last minute at The OUT Hotel -- best decision ever. The place was like a winter wonderland -- the spa atrium became "the Scene" with most of the guests in the hotel spending time there soaking in the hot tubs, watching the snow blowing outside. Everyone was... More

I'll start with the pros: Very unique spa for NYC nice and extremely relaxing Miami style. Cons: Very cold temperatures for NYC winter weather due to the hotel rooms being partially accessible from the outside. rooms are lovely but claustrophobic due to the fact that most Windows of property are to the inside. Very noisy on weekends because of club... More

Dear Alex W, Thank you for your review! As discussed via telephone when you contacted the hotel, the charge for damaged linens was removed as a good will gesture. To clarify, The OUT Hotel is not in the business of posting fraudulent charges or taking advantage of our valued guests. So that other travelers don't get the wrong idea from... More

We booked here for a business / sightseeing trip to New York. Location was fantastic, 10 mins walk from Times Square. The staff were very friendly, big shout out to Ro for his help with our airport transfer. The rooms were excellent size and the bathrooms also really nicely fitted out. Wifi is free and there is cable on large... More

We had the good fortune to land a room here for the recent NRF Big show. It was very convenient to the Convention Center. The hotel is Clean, relatively quiet, rooms are boutique style. The open air courtyards are nice, other than it was 18 degrees outside so that part was not very user friendly. Staff was very friendly and... More

I had a super negative experience. There is a night club next door which makes sleeping near impossible. The music was so loud in the room it was comic. I booked and then rebooked- at first online and then on the phone. They refused to refund the first unrealized reservation. They said they would and now won't. Peeling paint in... More

I can’t stop talking about this hotel!!……Let me start by saying I’ve stayed in dozens of hotel around the world, so my standards are pretty high when it comes to hotels/motels, because I’ve stayed in ones that were really good, and ones that were really bad. Great little hotel in an otherwise very touristy part of Manhattan. The front desk staff has always been very friendly and efficient. Rooms are well-equipped, beds are comfy. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
