My wife and I stayed with our in laws from sept 21-24th. When we 1st got there our room had low water pressure. We told them and they looked into it but since it was late they try to tell use to just let them know if it was still like that. Yup the next morning we had to dance around just to take a shower. When we told them it was still like that the lady told us they would change us rooms. We asked if they were going to comp us something for having to take showers like that for 2 days. The lady just said well if you would of just told us sooner. Guess that was a NO. We get into our new room late, so we passed out. Once we pulled the blanket back that morning the bed had pee stains and it was so Nasty!!!!!! Since we were leaving that day we told them anyways. Yet they still didn’t comp us anything!!!!! That was very disappointing especially since we spent over 700 for our stay. Me and my in laws will not be BACK at least not to this place.

Staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel is nice but all those nice lights and decorations that you see in the pictures were not up or turned on so that turned me down a little cause it didn’t look the same. The room was super comfortable and clean.

This is actually my 2nd stay at this hotel. What I liked about it was the location. It's close enough to the action, yet far enough from the craziness. Checking in was easy, and finding your room is easy. This time I was facing the courtyard which is nice when the weather is nice. This restaurant USED to have a nice breakfast every morning, but they stopped that. There also used to be a nice restaurant/bar next door but that closed. Ah, well. At least the fitness center is nice, very well lit with great equipment. There's a water dispenser in there which is very popular. My only gripe about this hotel is the internet signal. The signal is weak and bumps you off all the time, yet for my phone, the internet signal kept bumping me off my other signal to get on their extremely weak Wifi. Good thing I learned how to use my hotspot. Other than that, everything was great. I LOVE that there's a fridge and a safe. And the elevators aren't key card operated. There's also no iron and board in your room, but I guess it's upon request. Also the shower is a rain head shower and they have those half shower splash guards so water gets everywhere!! But the place was great, convenient, walkable. And yes, I'd definitely stay here again.

Don’t bother!!! Nothing as it appears on the website! So disappointed as this was booked for our last night after a fantastic 2 week holiday in America,, room was on a noisy walkway and filthy dirty and thick with dust and let over food!!! The fridge didn’t work and I had to keep my sliders on as the floor was so dirty!! I complained snd was told there were no other rooms to move to do was promised a 50% refund which after numerous emails I have never recieved!!! Please do not book here they clearly do not care about their guests!!!

My Partner booked this hotel from looking at the photos and reading the reviews I cannot express the disappointment we felt as we approached the reception desk We could see immediately on the interaction the receptionist had with another guest that this was not going to be a pleasant stay In all my years and having travelled the world this is the worst welcome I have received The youngish receptionist was clearly very unhappy in her job and should not be working in a customer service role Unfortunately this was only the start of our nightmare The room was grim and dirty with broken furniture It did not resemble the photos at all The landing carpets were dirty and threadbare with tape keeping them together dirty grimy lifts It was “Labour day “ weekend so we had no option but to stay for 1 night Thank goodness we escaped for the rest of our holiday There is no room service or restaurant to eat at as it appears on the photos I strongly recommend you do not stay here and even spoke with a guest checking in to save her from the horror

A very unique hotel for NY, it's not high-rise, and has some cool outdoor spaces for relaxing and gathering. Decent rooms, about normal for NYC which is fine (some places are silly tiny but this was not). Very cool artwork in the hotel too! Location on 42nd is a little far West, but nice because it's quieter, and from 42nd it is so easy to walk up or down.

The front desk and staff were super nice. Everything else was average to terrible. The AC was super loud I had to take a melatonin to fall asleep. The pillow has blood on it so I left it on the table but it was never replaced. The pillows were so flat. Location is OK but the nearest metro was a 15 mins walk.

I've traveled the world, from Europe to Asia, to South America and all over the U.S. and this was easily the worst hotel experience of my life. Where to start? The bed was soft but sagged deeply in the middle. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. They tried to move me but the second room was worse. There are drunk people fighting in the hallways almost every night. And the week was capped off by an insanely loud party in the event space immediately beneath my room that sounded like it was in my room. The entire room shook for hours. Hotel management threw their hands up like it was out of their control: "It's not our event." But it's on your hotel! Unbelievable. They did eventually comp me for the last night. But I would have preferred some quiet. No restaurant. No coffee in the room. They do offer free ear plugs at the front desk hahahahaha. In short, this is a great example of the new New York as best exemplified by all the new but cheap construction in neighborhoods in Williamsburg: It's all style over substance. The hotel looks cool but the basics are broken. As a former resident of Manhattan and Brooklyn it makes me really sad.

Rooms are great, hotel is really artsy and centrally located. Next time I go to NYC and I need accommodation, this will probably be my first choice. The only thing I would change is that there should be more than just feather pillows, as my head is really heavy.
