We booked a 30K event with this hotel prior to COVID when the property was closed due to the Pandemic. They promised us we could use the credit in 2021. Today , the property is not open and they will not provide a refund as promised “no response from ownership” for close to 2 months now. Very poor busness ethics and no integrity - just a bad look. I would not stay at any of their hotels.
My uncle booked there before COVID and had to cancel due to travel restrictions. For two months they haven’t confirmed it and charged the card for the entire stay! Sent many emails and so many attempts to call :(
Stayed for 2 nights Loved the price - great value ! No parking on site - but the hotel across the street has inexpensive ($35/day) self parking - which is ideal, no waiting for valet on checkout! Rooms are beautiful with a large modern bathroom Great- low key -on site restaurant Easy walk to Times Square and easy access to the Lincoln tunnel on departure
Where do I start? Never written a review but was compelled to do so for this place. 1. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls must be paper thin, I could hear people on the running machine and you couldn't avoid listening to the rock concert that went on one night in the hotel. Noone could have slept that night. 2. My original "suite" room was next to the lift, not only could you hear the mechanism in the bedroom but also the constant binging of the lift. They moved me to a smaller room and told me they would refund me as the only room they had was a downgrade. The manager told me to contact the website I booked thru (ebookers) and they would confirm to them that the payment should be made. When ebookers contacted them they denied knowing anything about it and so no refund!!! 3. They charged my credit card (without my permission) $13 for a face mask that was tiny and looked like a sample. The front desk when I asked them about them knew nothing about them so I assumed it was some sample. How can you charge an extortionate fee for something you don't tell anyone about. Disgusting!! 4. I have sent multiple emails to the hotel for weeks to try to discuss some of these issues and they have just ignored me, zero response. Wonderful customer service!! So many hotels in NYC to chose from, this is not the one to stay in.…
We came in to NYC early from Toronto and just hoped we would get an early check-in, 5 star for the hotel getting us a room by 11am. Room was decent and clean, with the japanese style doors. 12 mins walk to Times Square and couple restaurants and Deli's nearby. We wanted to heat up some food we got, but no microwave in the room or any where. Breakfast i would say a 2.5 star.
