I had traveled to New York on a solo trip. On a positive note the hotel was doable for price at time of booking. I found my own transportation to the hotel via private town car from airport. The hotel was close to several sites and not far from 9th ave where you can hail a cab easily. The room...

Dear Guest: This is a standard property and the rooms are clean and cozy even without any luxury amenities but we have all the basic ones in the room such as coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer etc. plus the temper-pedic mattress, an additional add on to our guest's comfortable need. With our variety choices of breakfast, this...

Just back yesterday from NYC & stayed in Magnuson Convention Centre. Fourth time to NYC & stayed in Times Square in past. Hotel is small & basic but has all the amenities you require as you are never in hotel. Only criticism is the bath towels, they were a rather washed out white & this really creates a poor impression...

It's a small room (what else, its NY!) but clean and complete with an iron, hairdryer and bathtub. It's a small business hotel and the price is ok considering its location. Street is basically safe, close to bus stops & subway. Complete with a full breakfast.

Service was good and the hotel is in good position, 10min from subway. BUT If you want to wake up every night by a train that passes near the window and beeps like crazy. If you like a small, old place that costs more than 5 star hotel in vegas. If you love towels with lipstick, hair and other weird...

We stayed here two nights. It's a budget hotel with free breakfast. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Location was just perfect. Only a few blocks from Time Square. Great staff too. I would definitely book again here.

I paid $500 to stay here so I was expecting a hotel that is very clean, up to date and maintained. The lady at the front desk was rude, upon entering the hotel the walls all needed to be repainted, the hotel was not welcoming and did not feel clean. Once we entered our room it, it was small, the...

As hotels go in New York I would describe this as Budget and for the price its reasonable. Its close to Times square and the Empire State Building. Its not in the nicest of areas, there is a garage opposite which you can hear noise from at night and also there is noise from the nearby train line. The rooms...

We stayed here for a week whilst visiting NYC. The location was great - about 15 minute walk to Times Square and Penn Station (for airport train). Basic bedroom and bathroom but an adequate size but the shower pressure wasn't great and the tub didn't drain quick enough for the shower. Complimentary breakfast was great for grabbing coffee and a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
