This is a great choice if you also want to stay at the heart of Manhattan. Very nice hotel, at the best location, with a very nice view. I am suggesting it mostly for jod travelling and not as for a calming and carefree trip. I will be happy to visit you again!

Hotel has a perfect location. Staff are enough experienced and well trained, they are very polite. Rooms are renovated and bed linens, towels, amenities are very clean and satisfying your needs. The next room was noisy, but it was ok.

It’s not a 5 star, it’s a 4 just to set your expectations. The hotel did have cladding up when we stayed but the only thing that affected was trying to spot it when we arrived in a taxi. It didn’t make any other difference to our stay. It’s a good solid hotel with a great location.

I have to say that although I found that my overall stay was 3 stars, and I had some major issues with their service, the place was really beautiful with newly renevated rooms, high end linens and towels, pleasant atmosphere, and very polite and nice staff. However I will probably deter the average traveler from staying in this hotel... Firstly, when I booked the room, I put in a request with my booking that I be upgraded to a suite complimentary. I understand that regularly hotels usually will not upgrade you to a suite for free, but I was hoping that due to their crazy low occupancy because of the virus they would allow it. Anyways, the day of check in, I recieved an email from the hotel saying "We will kindly try to honor your request for a complimentary suite upgrade however we can not garantee it as our suites are not always available". I was very excited because they were saying that if it was available they would upgrade me. Ok, when I got to the hotel guess what they told me. The suite is available but you will have to pay an additional $400. I told them I get it, but they sent me an email saying if it was available they would upgrade me for free. I showed him the email but he just kept saying I'm sorry but we don't upgrade to suites for free. Finally after 5 minutes of me asking him to explain the email to me, he goes off to get the manager. She then tries to explain to me that since I booked through a third party site they have to accept my request by email, but it really is against the hotels policy. So I was then really turned off. I sayed to her ... so you are saying you did send the email? She says yes. But we didn't mean it. I was speechless. I really could not understand how they thought that was acceptable business! They didn't even consider honoring their own email. Well after this first big strike one, I go off to my room putting this out of my mind, when I see that besides for the $100 incidental deposit, the hotel charged me an extra $40 for my room on my credit card. I called the front desk and asked her what it was about. She said that I booked my room from booking.com and they didn't include the taxes. I looked at my email and saw that they did include taxes . So she asked me to forward the email to her and she went to speak to her manager. I was already thinking here we go again. Anyways 20 min later she calls me back saying that the site only included some of the taxes but not all of them. HUH?!? I really was speechless being that booking.com is a very legitimate site and never heard anything like this before (taxes included but only some and not all). That was strike two, but i put it out of my mind thinking all right , it was only $40. ( and the weirdest part was that when I checked out they told me they were gonna put $140 back on my card as if they never intended to charge me that $40.... really weird and really confusing... was there more taxes or not... but obviously I didn’t ask) And then lastly, I had called the front desk the at night to request 2 pm late check out which they honored and to their credit was nice. But then, the next morning, I get out of bed at 10 oclock to explain to the housekeeping knocking at my door that I was staying till 2pm. Then came the knocking again at 12.30 and the man said that check out was at 12 and he assumed I wouldn’t be here. So I called the front desk to ask them what happened to the late check out and the lady told me that she didn't see any late check out in her system. She did however fix that right away. Annoying! But at least this one was an honest mistake. Anyways, you can see from my long review that I am obviously fustrated... but as I said before, it was an overall nice stay. But when you come in for one measly night you don't expect to have to deal with so much stuff. On some of the stuff they should have been much more accommodating.

As I do for each of my business trip to Midtown Manhattan, I stayed at the Quin Central Park, and I will again for sure. Location is perfect, rooms are nice as is the staff. A little pricey, but this is NYC...
