Small room but A++ staff and service. You cannot find a better location either. We were right on the F train which got us almost everywhere. I would get a larger room. The studio w a king bed is very small, otherwise top rated!
A friend and I stayed at the Quin for three nights this week and found the room to be upscale and exceptionally clean, the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, and the location to be outstanding. Having been recently renovated, the room had all the latest amenities including charging stations, a very modern phone/clock radio, a large tv, a rainforest shower head, a clothes steamer, and a very cold refrigerator. The only other thing we would have liked is a small microwave to warm our breakfast to go with the excellent Nespresso coffee in the room. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They currently don’t have a concierge but both Amella at the front desk and the doorman whose name I didn’t get were very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations in the area. The location on 6th Ave. and 57th St. was great, close to Central Park, Carnegie Hall (of course, not currently open due to COVID), many restaurants, a Walgreens and a grocery store across the street, and easy walking distance to MOMA, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Metropolitan Art Museum, etc. And a real plus was the subway station probably not even 50 yards from the front door, with another subway line a couple of blocks away. If you are not a Hilton Grand Vacations member, you might consider the Quin a little pricey, but not out of line compared to similar hotels in NYC.…
I needed a one night stay and booked the Quin last minute. What a very plesent surprise. Great location 2 minute walk from Central Park. The room was absolutely immaculate spotless.I think the room might’ve been recently renovated because everything was in working order and extremely clean. Thank you very much to the housekeeper. Check-in was smooth bed very comfortable, quiet, air conditioner in other words a perfect 1 night stay.
My stay was good and the room was clean. I would recommend getting a room on a higher floor to help with the outside noise level. The only issue we had was bathroom sink water pressure in room 409. Overall stay was good
I stayed in February twice 2 nights one wee apart. Location is great only minutes from Central Park and all midtown attractions Staff is courteous and rooms spacious and confortables. Few things can be improve: 1) we went through all the check in process the second time we stayed even though they had all our info as we stayed the week before 2) I wanted to pay to stay later as we had a late flight. Usually hôtels we go to charge us 1/2 price to keep to the room till 6pm. Here it was full fare. So we decided not to do it. Overall great hotel great value and kind service. We will stay there again.
We stayed for a weekend getaway. 1BR Premier (1BX) was more spacious than we expected. The main bathroom had a large soaking tub, shower, toilet and decent size vanity w/sink. There was also a 1/2 bath in the living room area. The bedroom had a large dresser with 2 nightstands, and the room did not feel cramped. The closet was small, but there was space to store luggage in the bed frame and in the entrance hallway. The living room area had a sofa (comfortable sleeper), side chair, a console with storage and cabinet with refrigerator, coffee machine and storage drawers. The hotel's midtown location is great for walking and has easy subway access to all points uptown and downtown. Our 5th floor room was great for short elevator rides but prepare for normal NYC evening street noise. There is no restaurant, bar or market at the hotel, but there are plenty of places just outside the hotel doors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!…
The hotel was fine, the staff was nice. Within a few hours of checking out, I realized that I had left a gallon sized makeup bag in the nightstand drawer. I called ASAP, told them my room and which drawer I left it in, I informed them that all my medication was in the bag; but worse was that I had purchased 2 Gucci bracelets ($350 each) and put them in the bag. Sadly, I paid cash and the receipt was in the makeup bag with the bracelets. I'm sure my copay on my meds totaled well over $100 (you know how hard it is to get refills on some meds?). I called many times over the course of 2 weeks and even reported it to their main loss prevention office. They said they would "look into it". After several months I hadn't heard so I recently called back and was informed they didn't find it. That was it, they didn't find it, end of story. I was a guest (someone treated me because I'm broke) in this expensive hotel, I spent way more money than I should have on Christmas gifts for my kids, it wasn't money I had to lose. I still haven't built up all my mediation stores. I had really hoped that such an upscale brand would have offered me some kind of compensation.…
Hotel with no restaurant, no mini bar in the room, and very bad service. I am diamond member at Hilton and this is totally useless in this property. They are totally inflexible and no matter what you ask the answer will be NO. So if you are looking for an hotel where you want to be well treated and to feel well, don’t come to this hotel.
These rooms were designed by some klutz who gave NO thought to the experience of somebody staying in one. The owners' lounge is still not functioning. The shower in our "deluxe" studio demands great contortions lest you flood the bathroom floor. Etc. The best one bedroom suite has no illumination for the coffee machine.
Nice stay at another Hilton! Pros: *Location (easy walk to restaurants, shopping, theater). Drug store across the street. Ubers were always super fast to this location. * Comfortable beds (even the queen pull out!). * Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Cons: * Must ask for an iron/board (clothes steamers in each room only). * No food in hotel, morning coffee in lobby, etc. I would definitely stay here again!
