Lovely hotel offering a more opulent feel without being too big. Rooms were quiet, (May 2023) little noise heard from elsewhere. Lovely roof top bar & 2x popular restaurants & small bar to the rear also serving coffee/tea. 2 minute walk to 28th St & Park Metro gives excellent access to the 6 (green line) local trains & beyond. Very good location for accessing all of NYCs tourist attractions. Overall great feel, would definitely recommend.

I stayed here for 5 nights during a business trip and felt like I was mislead a bit when I booked. The photos online look lovely but the hotel itself is quite old and small. I know it’s New York, but the rooms were tiny and outdated. The music at night was quite loud (likely coming from the rooftop bar) and my keys needed to be reactivated at least 1-2 times per day. I enjoyed the location and the staff were helpful but I probably wouldn’t stay here again now having seen it.

Had 5 fantastic nights at the park south hotel in New York. Everything about our stay was great the rooms nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. All staff we great and very friendly and helpful but special thanks to Chuck for arranging our return back to the airport. Wouldn’t t hesitate to return to this hotel if back in New York.

The hotel I most probably would take again if there's a next NY-visit, also because the location seemed me perfect for someone who wants to discover New York. And you're in Manhattan! The people a Park South were very nice and always ready to help!

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by Chuck who makes you feel special. Check-in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, hotel is steps from subway and centrally located. Would definitely recommend to friends. We were visiting family and traveled with my elderly mom, staff was wonderful to her.

I booked this hotel in NYC the same day (I booked it over the phone, and stood outside the hotel and then walked in to check in.) I checked in. I told the front desk I may need to leave Friday afternoon and not need the additional night through Saturday. The Manager was a lady I spoke to and she told me she completely understood and that if I needed to check out early on Friday I would NOT be charge an early check out fee and she would be there to check me out and assure no additional charges. I told the front desk I needed to go home early and I would be checking out Friday at 12pm. When I checked out Friday afternoon they charged me an early check out fee! I was promised there wouldn't be one. Hyatt has always had great service when I stay with them and this time I didn't feel I received the top of the line service.…

I have recently had a holiday in New York. The hotel was extremely clean and personnel friendly. There was no breakfast but a coffee bar attached to the hotel - bit pricey.
