Hotel's Favorite
For me personally, Bryant Park Hotel is the best hotel in the world (from my travels in the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia). The words I associate with the BPH are: classy, warm, homey, sophisticated, comfortable, friendly, cheery, happy, bright, well located, accommodating. My spirits lift every time I walk in the front entrance. I've stayed here solo and with my family several times since 2012. I stayed for an extended period in Dec 2022 and didn't get around to writing my review before I returned for a short visit solo in March 2023. In December, it was magical looking out onto the winter wonderland in Bryant Park and was lovely being toasty and warm in my bright and cheery suite when it was icy and miserable out. My trip ended abruptly in December and I had to rush back on account of a family tragedy. Given that I was in a hotel when the news came, there was no other place I would have chosen to be. Scott at the front desk was so kind and understanding, adjusting the dates of my stay and letting me check out very late the day of my departure. I was delighted to return in March 2023. Since I was solo, I opted for a basic room. Jo checked me in and was warm and welcoming. When I asked, she said the room I had been assigned did not have a view. So I expected what I have experienced in other New York City hotels in rooms without views ie, you look out onto the wall of the next building which seems close enough to touch. In one upmarket hotel, my only view of the sky was the reflection in the window of the building I faced. So I was pleasantly surprised by how bright and cheery my BPH room without a view was. As I said to Jo later, a BPH room without a view equals a room with a view in most hotels. The next building was a distance away and I had a nice view of Bryant Park from the side. The BPH bathrooms are spectacular by NYC standards—spacious and well maintained. It's just lovely being on Bryant Park in all seasons. And there are restaurants, cafes, bars (the bar in BPH—Celon—is delightful), a Whole Foods, the beautiful and imposing New York Public Library, a bookstore and more at the BPH's doorstep. And, while not located in the madness of Times Square, the hotel is very conveniently located for theater going. I truly feel like I'm back amongst friends whenever I return to the BPH, which is my comfort zone. Thank you to all the staff and a special shoutout to Scott, Jo, John at the front desk, Ray at the front door, Tenzin, and Lundup in housekeeping for yet another fantastic stay. I can't wait to be back.

I was a bit skeptical of all the excellent reviews before booking our first stay at The Bryant Park Hotel. We quickly learned the reviews are quite accurate. The location is excellent, the rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable with awesome views of the park, and the elevators quite fast and uncrowded. While there is not a large traditional lobby, grab a complimentary coffee and muffin and head across the street...then the beautiful Bryant Park becomes your lobby. Even better is the service from the staff at the front desk and door -- always friendly and offering to help. We especially appreciated Jo, who was genuinely friendly, caring, and professional. We will definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor, and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. John who checked us in was a delight. Our room was amazing - a deluxe with park views. Bigger than I was expecting, with a huge bathroom. No noise from other rooms or the hallways. Perfect. The bar in the basement is great - excellent cocktails. We will definitely be back. (Hopefully the unsightly scaffolding above the hotel entrance will be gone by then!)

We had an amazing experience at the Bryan Park Hotel. Dwight, Ronan and Zaaul were an incredible team. They brightened our day so much! All of them are so kind, helpful, and attentive. We even had an upgrade for our room, which was such a huge surprise. The room was immaculate, with every comfort imaginable. This hotel is a rare gem in NYC and not to be missed. Our trip was absolutely perfect, big thanks again to the amazing Bryant Park Hotel team for all the joy and smiles you brought to me and my mom.

Heartwarming and delightful experience!! We visited NYC recently and stayed first at another hotel. We extended our trip but the room type we're staying no longer available. The other rooms there didn't suit our needs. I booked Bryant Park hotel in a hurry and requested a early check in. So glad we decided to make the change. We arrived at Bryant Park Hotel in the morning. Veronica, the front office manager welcomed us warmly. She put in a lot of effort to accommodate my early check in request. After leaving our luggage, we went sightseeing and lunch. She called to inform us we can pick up keys to go to our room early if needed. We were pleasantly surprised that she arranged a room upgrade for us from Junior Suites to Bryant Suites when we came to get the keys. Shannen, another front office staff, followed up with us after we got into our room to make sure we have all we needed. She surprised us in the evening with card from the front office staff and very thoughtful gifts for our visit. Dwight and Josephine at the front office also helped us when we needed things or directions. All the staff we interacted with at Bryant Park Hotel were welcoming, kind, genuine and thoughtful. They're passionate about their job, and care about the customers and love their city! Room: The Bryant Suites we stayed in is very spacious and overlooks the Bryant Park. Soft natural light pour in from the tall windows in the bedroom and bay windows in the living room, it's bright and calming. The marble bathroom is huge, with a bathtub and a separate enclosed shower. Good water pressure and fast WIFI. We felt very relaxed in our room the minute we stepped in, rested and and slept well. Location: Right in the middle of Manhattan, walk 6-8 blocks south to the Empire State Building and all the tasty restaurants/cafe in Korean Town, walk 10-15 mins north to Rockefeller and MoMA. Time Square is just a few blocks to the west, and the rooftop experience at Summit One Vanderbilt is a few blocks northeast....Many subway lines at the Bryant park, easy ride to Soho/Nolita, Chelsea, East Village or Greenwich Village, etc. Service: All our requests were handled timely. Larry, the housekeeping staff who brought extra blankets for us is fast and upbeat. Elevators are super fast, we never waited longer than a minute, one of the added advantages of staying at boutique hotel. My teen boy used the hotel gym. Great weight lifting equipments and he loved working out there. He used the gym at night and in the morning, neither time was crowded. The free coffee and muffins provided at the hotel lobby in the morning was lovely, too. We look forward to coming back to Bryant Park Hotel when we visit NYC and highly recommend it!!

The hotel is great. The staff is amazing. So good after my kids and friendly. Location in front of the park is amazing. Some rooms could use an upgrade for a star rating. But overall no complaints at all. Great place to stay close to Times Square and various subway lines.
