The Bryant Park Hotel is a historic building right across from Bryant Park, The New York Public Library and the Bryant Park Grill. The hotels has built in 1924 for the American Radiator Company and has lots of character that is juxtaposed by the contemporary interior. For a business hotel with many room options, it has a clean And cool... More

I just loved the Bryant park hotel - the standard room is pretty big for Manhattan standards. Walking distance from Broadway, Times Square and between 5th and 6th avenue. There aren't that many decent restaurants on the same street but 5th avenue is a short walk away (with plenty of restaurants). I loved chilling at the Bryant park cafe. Will... More

Thank you for such a wonderful 5 star review! I am so glad that you enjoyed the park, it is so nice to have a park across the street from us. You also mentioned that Times Square is so close, isn't it nice to be within walking distance but not in the middle of all the excitement? I am happy... More

Had a great 4 days in NYC due to the excellent location of the Bryant hotel; walking distance to many attractions. Friendly staff and the free drinks during happy hour was a nice bonus. Very clean rooms.

My 18-yer-old daughter and I stayed there recently for an overnight in NYC. Loved the location, right across the street from Bryant Park. In the morning we grabbed croissants and coffee from a next door bakery and sat out in the garden at the park. Easy to walk to Times Square to get tickets and see a show. The service... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for recommending us to the readers. I am happy to hear that you and your daughter felt so much at home with us. You mentioned desserts and it's only recently that there have been several wonderful dessert and coffee spots opening on our block. It make it very hard... More

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. A warm welcome from the door man when we arrived. At check in, Natalie asked me the correct way to pronounce my name, a lovely touch instead if butchering it throughout our stay. We were given a room and had trouble with the plumbing. I called the front desk and Gabe... More

We went here for our anniversary and they upgraded us (free) to a junior suite and gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! These personal touches are what sets this hotel apart from the chain hotels. The staff were all fabulous. Includes complementary happy hour (Mon-Fri) which saves you quite a bit! Parking is 2 blocks away and is... More

A modern, smart, chic hotel in a prime time location overlooking Bryant Park. Stayed on the 23rd floor penthouse with views of Bryant Park which were more than worth the price of staying there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good, fast wifi and the location is close to everything that you need for a staycation or visit to... More

Chic boutique hotel across from the park. Great location for walking to Broadway plays, and great restaurants in the Hells Kitchen area. Had a lovely dinner at restaurant 44 1/2, and saw "Beautiful" the Carol King musical. After the play we sat in the park and relaxed a bit. Our room on the 8th floor was super clean, modern, quiet,... Wonderful hotel located at Bryant Park between 5th and 6th Ave. Very nice rooms, not a "shoebox" as you usually get in Manhattan. Very good service at the front desk. Absolutely fantastic restaurant: Koi restaurant.

Great hotel location- love walking outside and into the park. The rooms are a great size- clean with a large bathroom/shower. Great AC during this heat wave. The price is right, not only for the rooms, but for the valet parking as well. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Free drink happy hour for hotel guests was especially... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
