This hotel's lobby and restaurant were beautiful! The front desk staff were so professional and helpful and the room was small...but clean, which was all we were looking for. My husband and I only slept here....we had gone to a concert at Carnegie Hall which was a short walk, came back to the hotel, slept and had to get up...

The Hudson is a great location for tourists, but the rooms are very small. The location of the hotel is great for most things you'd need to do in New York, a 5 minute walk to Central Park and 5th Avenue shopping, and a 20 minute walk to the Rockefeller center etc. The hotel staff were very friendly to us...

I've stayed in many, many hotels in my life, but I have to admit that this was the worst experience in my life so far. Let's get to the point. I've been there with my girlfriend, and we have been given a room so small that we could not even put our baggage down since there was no room for...

If you have ever traveled to Europe you know every thing shrinks in terms of space especially hotel rooms. I stayed at a very posh hotel across from Hyde Park in London and I thought they mistakenly gave me the key to a storage closet. The Hudson hotel room I stayed I not that small thankfully. I stayed here with a friend the week of Christmas for a small trip together. The hotel lobby is a bit odd, very dark and up escalators but this wasn't a big deal. The bar was wonderful! Beautiful with comfortable seating, a bit expensive for food but we had a credit of $15 per day which we found was great...

I hadn't been to the Hudson hotel in 5 years and it seems to be in a downward spiral. The library bar's staff was terrible. We waited for 30 minutes at the bar and the bartender never looked our way on Saturday night. The restaurant, the Hudso Common, is more like a cafeteria. Try eating over easy eggs off of...

The hotel was nice and so were the rooms but they were really small. The restroom was tiny and you litterally had to sit sideways on the toilet. I went with a friend and we couldn't really open up our suitcases on the floor at the same time. We were hardly in the room so wasn't a big issue but...

I was put up here two nights for a company event and really liked my stay. The whole vibe of the hotel and my room was very modern. We had gatherings in the rooftop bar and the library. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
