Considering that it's NYC, and considering that it's located in the heart of the Times Square area, I wasn't expecting a lot of luxury for our budget. This hotel offers everything needed for a nice quick stay in the city. We went for a couple of NYU commencement ceremonies, and this hotel was located a few blocks from Radio City Music hall, one of the site for the ceremonies. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was neat, useful, nothing luxurious, but had most of the necessary amenities. I say most, which is the reason why I didn't give it a 5 star (or 5 green dots?) review. the hotel room did not provide a safe for our valuables, something that so far has been standard for ever hotel I've ever stayed in. Also, the hotel Internet access was public, no password. Other than that, we had a great stay and we were able to enjoy the commencement ceremonies without any worries. The hotel bar is very nice for a great conversation over drinks, and William, the bartender was very personable. The check-in and check-out process were also very smooth with several options (online, front desk).

The location was fantastic ... we were able to walk to the Belasco Theater, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, Central Park etc. There were so many great local restaurants, bars and coffee shops within blocks and a lovely little pocket park just across the street. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, attractive and felt very safe. We loved the coffee machine in the lobby and took advantage of the weekday happy hour. Most of all, the staff (especially JoAnne) went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to any friends and family going to NYC.

Smelly, horrible, tiny rooms. Overpriced. First and last time at this hotel. A prison-like hotel with bolted shut windows, no view of the city and zero fresh air, mildew stench throughout. Staff were friendly though, so 2 stars.

Great location in a quiet street not far from Times Square. Beds comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee in lobby. Rooms are a bit dated but perfectly adequate. Housekeeping replenished towels when requested and front desk staff were particularly helpful. Would stay again.

The hotel is located in a prestigious area which makes possible for you to visit every famous spots by walking few blocks away, plus the hotel is pretty cozy and the staff is the best! Since my checkin they’ve made me feel so good and welcome. I had some troubles with my checkin dates and Tia helped me to solve the problem. She is incredible! Thanks again :) I definitely recommend this accommodation.

Lovely, accommodating staff. My room was clean and quiet. This is where I stay when I am in the city. My dog is always made to feel welcome. A little jewel. Computer access is easy and coffee is available at any time.

I was participating in the Scottish Tartan Day parade with my 3 small terriers. I was looking for a location that was close to the parade that would allow 3 dogs. I called to confirm that it would be okay to bring 3 dogs and the manager was great about it. I was traveling alone and the dogs were all in crates. I use a folding cart for the crates to make things easier. When I arrived, it was around 9:30pm and I was exhausted after navigating through traffic for hours. I pulled up out front and walked in, where I was greeted by Justin, who was friendly and energetic and was already expecting me. He helped me unload the car and situate everything on the cart, and we got the dogs safely in the room. He then directed me to the parking garage around the block. I was so relieved and able to relax at this hotel. The room was a standard double that was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I never heard a sound outside my room, and the dogs were able to rest comfortably. When I took them out to walk them, the front desk staff were always friendly. Tia and Ivory just loved them and were genuinely happy to see them and pet them. Joanne was very helpful after my dog lost his hat from the parade. Although no one found or turned in the hat, she kept an eye out and never seemed bothered whenever I’d check it to see if it was found. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels with my dogs, and this place was exceptional. They provided free leashes with their brand logo, which was very thoughtful. They also didn’t charge a separate pet fee, which was wonderful and sets them apart from other hotels. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great experience with their pets in the heart of NYC. I felt safe there and I believe the staff could all teach a master class in hospitality.

Fantastic Location, Friendly Staff , Clean Room and Comfortable Bed. If you are fan of walking you can reach almost all interesting sights in Manhattan within about 5 to 7 Km. Also you would have easy access to most subway lines which could bring you to every where in New York you may like to go or see. Being located only 5 minutes to Times Square give you the opportunity to go to the most vivid spot in the world ,whenever you like during nights and days. Lots of restaurants ,bars and theaters are nearby which would not leave you any spare time.

The room was small and felt tired. The king bed felt clean however not super comfortable, felt like two twin mattress pushed together. Room was close to Time Square but not much more going for it for us.
