Really enjoyed the stay at the Broadway plaze - room was surprisingly large for 4 people. We were on the recently revamped 2nd floor, with very smartly re-done bathrooms. Only downside was no window - but for a one night stay it was fine. Some strange communication about breakfast - there was coffee and tea on the 4th floor but no breakfast despite what we had originally been told. But that was minor - loved the hotel and location!
FABULOUS! Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Terrific location. We had 2 rooms, 2 queens and 1 king, on the second floor, which the recent remodel of was completed last month. We were impressed how large the rooms were, by New York standards. Would absolutely stay here again! If street noise bothers you, request a higher floor. We didn't mind it, ourselves. Subway station 1 block away. Fairway grocery 1 block away. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
Great place to stay and well located in between midtown and downtown with a subway station only a few minutes walk away. Lots of food options nearby. We walked everywhere from here and felt the location was perfect for us. The room size was good. We had a super comfy king bed and a small fridge. Big flat screen tv and heating/cooling. Bathroom was small and perhaps slightly dated but really perfectly fine. Staff were efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a mid priced option. Really no issues. If I had to be picky, the street noise occasionally bothered me but it is NYC and totally unavoidable.
Amazing location, walking distance to everywhere, Times Square, 5th Avenue, B & H, lots of cafes, bakery, restaurants, gelato, bookstore within walking distance, close to subway station (less than 5 minutes walk). I feel safe to park my car at the nearby indoor garage for 3 nights and there is a discount with validation at the hotel. Very clean and sparkling bathroom, replenished towels everyday even we do not need them (as we reused the towels) thanks housekeeping!!! Will definitely stay in this hotel for our next visit to NYC!
Stayed here for 4 nights with my teen daughter, who has very high standards for hotel bathrooms. The room was large for city standards, sparkling clean, with a super modern bathroom ( literally gleaming) as were the common areas. Everyone from the lobby staff to the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which says a lot about the the hotel culture. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Scott, who clearly has immense pride in running such a wonderful hotel. The location is amazing with so many healthy dining options and a safe fun vibe. A true gem! We will be back.
Spacious clean rooms, comfy beds and lovely helpful staff. The hotel is in a good location with bars and restaurants nearby and not far to the main attractions. Subway just around the corner too. Would have been nice to have tea in our room rather than on the 4th floor, but that is just us being English!! Would stay here again.
This hotel never fails me. The lobby is inviting since a makeover. We stayed in room 1004 and it is the sheer size of the rooms that never cease to amaze me. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Being on an upper floor you can still hear the traffic but it is on Broadway so that is to be expected. We slept very well. The rooms have espresso machines, bottled water and other home comforts. You can get coffees and tea on the fourth floor all day. Views of the Empire State from our room is always a bonus. The area is great with loads of restaurants and bars within the surrounding blocks. I felt perfectly safe even returning late at night. You feel you are away from the extremely touristy areas. The best thing about the hotel are the staff who are helpful and welcoming. This is my 3rd time staying and it is now the only hotel I will consider staying in when I come to New York.…
Location was amazing. Lovely little pocket of restaurants, gelato, and shopping. Close, but not too close, to Time Square, and Rockefeller ctr. The staff were particularly kind, helpful, and genuine. I was travelling with my elderly mother, and the staff was quite supportive. Even housekeeping was genuinely kind, when I met them in the halls. I will stay at Broadway Plaza every time I go to NY.
I had a short business trip to NYC and didn't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Times Square. This was a great location with perfect access to breakfast across the street and a short walk to anything you want!
I was supposed to stay here in March of 2020 but due to Covid I had to cancel. There was an issue with cancelling but eventually I was able to. The owner said he would make it up to me and he did. I was very impressed that after some reminding (it had been two years) he recalled the incident. I will admit it was a comped room, I want to be transparent with my review, due to this particular issue. The hotel was great!! It is clean and very small (boutique) which is a nice NYC experience. I usually always go with these small hotels regardless of where I go. The best part was it's location. It was close to everything: right around the corner from the Flat Iron building, Times Square, even the Village or only a couple of Subway stops. The staff was polite and friendly. What I especially liked was I was on the 5th floor and just far enough away from the city noise. As much as I love the city sometimes it isn't great for sleeping. i don't know if I'd stay any lower than 5th though because it was just barely audible at that level. The reason I chose it originally was due to the value, for NYC it is was reasonably priced and especially after seeing it and it's location, even better.…
