I stayed here for the first time in September. Great location, close to East side. Friendly staff and nicely sized rooms. Elevator is slow, though, so allow time at peak periods. Breakfast was ok - slow service and quite limited choice. But I'd come back.

Very nice property. Ample size room. Terrible in-room internet; no resolution. Spotty service to room from housekeeping. Loud air conditioner. Shared bathroom amenities. Good midtown location. Overall, pretty average.

The Benjamin is a smallish hotel with nice rooms and kitchenettes that make it easy to have breakfast/cocktails in your room. We enjoyed the location, the staff and the rooms. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and every need we had was met with immediate responses from the staff.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September. We had originally purchased a room on a 3rd party booking site, for quite a good price. At check-in we were offered an upgrade to a junior suite for an additional charge, which we accepted. Loved the room. Nice little living room area, small kitchenette, and nice comfy King... More

The room had a separate bedroom, a walk-in closet and even a small kitchenette. Within walking distance of broadway shows, times square and major museums, while still being quiet with a nice welcoming feeling. This was a trip with my daughter and daughter in law, and we were able to all be in the same room when we wanted, but... More

Visited this hotel for a family wedding. The accomodations were very clean and well appointed. The front desk was polite, pleasant and helpful. We were most impressed with the housekeeping service which went to every effort to find and return a kindle that was left behind on the bedside table. The hotel contacted us personally with apologies for not finding... More

It was recommended to me by friends who have stayed several times. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated and quiet. The bathroom was small, but functioned well. The National serves good food and adjoins the hotel. Easy spot to pick up the subway, bus or cab.

I spent three nights at The Benjamin Hotel with a traveling companion. The hotel is pretty centrally located, two blocks to the bus stop and three to the subway station. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
