First stay here and it was great. Location right near Grand Central and many great restaurants and bars walking distance. Room was nothing special but fine. Very small bathroom, pretty clean, quiet, decent amenities. For under $300/night in NYC well worth a look. Parking expensive...More
Stayed at The Dylan for eight nights whilst in New York. The hotels location is great with it being a few minutes walk to Grand Central station or a 6 or 7 minute walk to Bryant park 42nd street station much of which can be...More

Thank you for your very kind comments and so glad you found the hotel comfortable and that our team - especially Randy, looked after you so well. We appreciate your business.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the big city - was in a great location - able to walk to all places,. Room was large, clean and had safe, ironing board, iron, coffee maker- everything that you would need. Air conditioner worked...More
Loved my 6 nights here. Perfectly located just over Madison Avenue and a block away from Grand Central.
Huge and tasty cooked breakfast each day at Benjamins Steakhouse included.
Room was big, particularly for NYC.
We stayed in the Dylan hotel with some friends from Ireland. It was the first time visiting New York. The hotel is perfect in many ways, brilliant central location near GC, and such friendly and helpful staff that go that extra mile. We intend to...More
The Dylan Hotel in Manhattan unites tradition and modernity exquisitely and with a contemporary elegance that captivates our guests. The building is very emblematic, first having been the residence of the …MoreWelsh writer, Dylan Thomas, and later the headquarters of the New York Pharmacists Club. The Dylan Hotel combines the classical lounges and guest rooms of the period with ambiances and areas in contemporary design. We are a non-stop hotel, because the Big Apple never stops. For this reason, the gym and the business centre are open 24 hours a day. Less

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Can’t beat the location. Can’t speak to the refurbishment as it was done after my stay. My caution is that the small rooms are REALLY small. Like six inches between the bed and the wall on both sides. If you can a room like... More
Can’t beat the location. Can’t speak to the refurbishment as it was done after my stay. My caution is that the small rooms are REALLY small. Like six inches between the bed and the wall on both sides. If you can a room like the other respondent you should be fine. I also found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful but hopefully that has changed too. Good luck.
I found the hotel quite adequate.
Clean, small rooms, nice amenities. Coffee maker, frig with a few nonalcoholic beverages. I had trouble with enough outlets as my room was older. Nice bathroom. No peeling paint, heat... More

Clean, small rooms, nice amenities. Coffee maker, frig with a few nonalcoholic beverages. I had trouble with enough outlets as my room was older. Nice bathroom. No peeling paint, heat worked fine. Staff very nice. Breakfast nice but not cheap. This is a solid 3. See my review.
