Kimpton Muse Hotel, I booked a 1 br suite specifically so that me, my wife, and my senior daughter could have a great trip to NYC together before she graduates. You do NOT just tell your clients when they arrive “we’re overbooked, too bad, so sad.” All to insure your revenue of you get a no show? Well, I SHOWED, and my family did not get the room they reserved for us. This may be one of our last trips before my daughter goes off to college, and I’m in one room and my wife and daughter are in another. No excuses, no reasoning, and dispute is having had our reservations confirmed for WEEKS, they just overbooked for their profit margins, didn’t ask us to “volunteer” like an airline would, just told us “too bad.” My wife is horrified, and my 17 year old is in tears. Me? I’m in a separate room because Kimptons PROFITS are more important to them than their CLIENTS. Utter horsecrap.. Don’t EVER stay here, and make sure you tell EVERYONE you know. 😡 Feel free to message me for more details or media contact. I’m going to put it out there FAR AND WIDE how Kimpton treats its guests.

From the moment we walked in the hotel we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. The hotel lobby is very beautiful and we were checked in by a very assisting, personable young man named Joseph. The hotel itself appears to be historic and the rooms were very updated and modern (to the point looking brand new which was awesome). I wish I would of got the name of our housekeeper as she deserves a shout-out (we stayed on the 5th floor November 5 -8 if the hotel staff reads this please thank her - she was an elderly lady). Each time we left the room for the day and arrived back, the room was immaculate. Location was incredible, as we walked everywhere. Times Square was a minute walk and Central Park was less than a 15 minute walk. This hotel will be our hotel of choice when we return to New York City. Thanks for an incredible stay!!

Stayed here two nights and had a beautiful room with a balcony. Awesome location just off Times Square. The room was great and the balcony, a rarity in NYC, was awesome. But the room had its issues...to start with the plumbing didn't work in the sink. We called down to the front desk a maintenance man came up and verified the sink was broken. He said a plumber would come the next day...no plumber ever showed up. The sink was broken the entire two day stay. Upon checking out I explained my displeasure with the desk person and they took 150 bucks off the bill... good but not great. No manager ever tried to contact us, no offer of another room. Handled poorly. That said the staff were very friendly and the place sparkled.

I have stayed at the Muse several times and it is centrally located to Rockefeller Center and Time Square. There are lots of places to shop and dine around the hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Its a great hotel, especially for the price.

2 night couple stay for leisure. super impressed with both the service and the property itself.  had wonderful interactions with the front desk agents, including barbara, the entire time.  the younger, dark haired, caucasian gentlemen set the tone on check in with a warm and sincere welcome.  offered helpful information and volunteered any further assistance that we might need.  barbara was similarly warm and engaging and exceptional in getting our keys reset and updating our reservation.  there was also a security gentleman that i interacted with that was also incredibly friendly and helpful.  had similar experiences with housekeeping as well.   the room itself was outstanding.  much more spacious than i expected for a manhattan hotel room with loads of natural light and the bathroom fixtures were quite impressive.  the bed was very comfy and the fitness facilities were spacious, modern and very well equipped.
