We had a fabulous experience at the Kimpton Muse. A block from Times square, this sleek boutique hotel made our brief visit to New York feel as comfortable as home. Rooms are on the small side and no view, but not bad for New York and updated with modern finishes. Mattresses were super comfortable, water pressure was amazing, room and reception areas were clean. We had to ask for extra towels, but service came promptly. The staff was so friendly and let us do late checkout and store our bags. Coffee was good too. I would definitely stay here again, although I think I may not get such a good deal when new york returns to normal.
I stayed at the Kimpton Muse for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located, though 46th street was closed for car traffic the majority of my stay. The room was a good size but I found pretzels from a previous guest just under the bed which indicates the room wasnt thoroughly cleaned. Pretty alarming in a pandemic. But the linens were clean and the room was quite quiet for NYC. Water pressure was 6/10.
If you are looking for a hotel in Time Square, I hope this review helps you. There’s nothing negative to say about this hotel. For starters, check in is a 3:00 pm. We got there at 1:00 pm and the room was ready!!. They even upgraded it for a room with a terrace (thank you Barbara). The hotel is in great shape. Everything clean and spotless. The staff was really nice and kind. About the location, its perfect. Right between 7th and 6th Av. Out the doors, look to the left, Time Square. Look to the right, 6th to Rockefeller Center. Took the subway on 47-50 to go everywhere. Just two minutes from the hotel. About the room. What can I say, I’m really picky about hotel rooms, and mostly, the bathrooms. The first thing I look at when I’m looking for a hotel, is the bathroom. If I don’t like it, I won’t stay there. Well, this bathroom was nice in the pictures, and it was nicer in reality!!! Really clean and in great condition. The beds were really comfortable. Slept like a baby there after long walks in NYC. Since there’s no open restaurants for dine in, we ordered our dinner almost every day. Dinner was delivered to the front desk, and they would call you to come down to pick it up. No problem there. Put the trash in a bag outside the door, let the front desk know, and somebody would come pick it up right away!!! This was just for dinner because during the day, we weren’t at the hotel. If you fly to JFK, just take the Air train to Jamaica station, from there, just take the subway to 47-50 st Rockefeller Station. It’s literally a 2 minute walk from the station to the hotel. I really hope this review helps!!…
A HUGE shoutout to this establishment and its employees! Such an amazing experience here at the Kimpton Muse Hotel. I would like to specifically thank their outstanding employee, Joseph. I called the other day looking for help with something and not only did he come through but he literally made my experience into an early Xmas miracle. He was so so sweet, kind and generous. I really hope he sees this review or that his boss does because he is a true gem! A million thank yous to Joseph and the team at this hotel.
I visited here twice in the last two months with my four year old daughter. The hotel does an awesome job keeping everybody safe. Sanitizer everywhere. We plan on coming back soon! My daughter and I had the great pleasure of getting to know the managers Daniel and Joseph through our masks. They are beyond polite. Truly hospitable gentlemen and they treated us like gold. I would never stay in a different hotel in NYC. Genuine hospitality is the difference. My brother and my mother stayed in a different room during our last visit and they were equally impressed.
