Was putting together a big family dinner that hasn't seen each other since the beginning of quarantine. Sammy at the front desk and Arlene who manages the restaurant at the Roxy were so kind on the phone and took into consideration all the details I had planned to make this dinner extra special. Roxy has detail oriented staff, and the food was delicious. This has been and will always be a go to when showing NYC to friends visiting.

This is a nice hotel in Tribeca. Period. But for $250 a night, one would expect it to be much better. We booked a double queen room which was quite ok, but everything felt quite worn out. The bathroom was really small with only one hanger for the towels of four people. We felt the beds were not queen but full beds. The room was quite small and the beds were tight to the wall. We found a lot of dust and crumbs under the beds and the night table, but when we told the receptionist he said that was very strange and that he would talk to his housekeeper. He did not offer anything to compensate for the inconvenience. In addition, we had to pay the $40 hotel fee per night only to get 4 masks, 4 mini hand sanitizers, 4 mini waters, and two cups of drip coffee. So although it was a nice hotel in a nice location, it was not worth the money!

My daughter came to visit from Texas and after self-quarantining in an Airbnb, she moved to The Roxy to be close to the family. I booked through Sami and he offered me the best local rate for a wonderful room. He kept in touch during her stay to make sure that she was comfortable. She was treated so well and loved staying there for the remainder of her visit. It truly was like a home away from home. We sat out at the plaza area and listened to fabulous music and had drinks and dinner for many nights (when it didn't rain). All the waiters wore masks and the tables were more than 6 feet apart and they were all COVID careful! I love The Roxy!

Stayed in the Roxy Hotel on August 7th. Checked into a room that was dirty and had random empty food containers left in the room. Hotel staff promptly upgraded my room but to my surprise the next room had a hairball in the toilet. I stayed in this room and just asked that they clean and sanitize it as I stepped away for dinner. I wrote an email with pictures and sharing my experience to their guest relations department with no response. If you stay, be sure your rooms are cleaned and sanitized and inspected prior to your arrival. Really disappointed in their lack of attention as it relates to general cleaning and room inspections prior to showing the room as ready.
