Really cool hotel. Location was great and as I wasn't that interested in the normal tourist sites like 5th Ave, Central Park and Times Square, but close enough to explore Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, Greenwich Village and the Financial District it worked really well. The guys looking after the door in and out were absolutely brilliant. Very charming and helpful.... More

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in NYC. Sal and the rest of the staff are the best at what they do, they always make each stay even better than the last one. Everything I need or want is either in the hotel or a quick walk away. The lounge is amazing for grabbing a bit to eat... More

This hotel is in a great location, and the Jazz bar was just sensational. So authentic and genuine with exceptional jazz and fantastic service! The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The bathroom design was a bit weird for my taste but functional.

This hotel was a quick hotwire find for my husband and I. We wanted to stay south of mid-town but couldn't afford Chelsea for one night. We landed with this little gem! The hotel is hip and cool. The decor is decidedly modern with a relaxed vibe. The lobby is nice and at night they had a fantastic duo playing... More

The Roxy is a great hotel, I really enjoyed being so close to the action and hot spots. I love the hotel building, it is very clean throughout, and has a wonderful atmosphere. Nico the Doorman is a great guy too! I will definitely stay at The Roxy again.

I visit New York maybe 4-6 times a year and usually stay midtown near the 2nd avenue bars. It's close to the shopping, I'm used to it and it's become a habit. This time, I tried something different and what a positive experience! The building is so different - the brick finish, the casually friendly attitude of the reception, the... More

I have just come back from possibly the best holiday I have ever had! I went to New York for my 40th birthday with friends and stayed at the wonderful Roxy Hotel in Tribeca. We stayed here for five nights at the end of May 2016. My partner and I have been to NYC quite a few times because we love it! Each time we have been, whether that's as a couple or separately we have stayed in different accommocation for different experiences. This time we went for a slightly pricer hotel rather than... This hotel is my "Go-to"! Not only do I recommend the Roxy from personal experience, but also business. I live in the city, and always send my out of town guests to the Roxy when they visit. The rooms are decorated beautifully--very clean and inviting; the lobby offers live jazz, making it the perfect place to either begin the night... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
