What I notice about my stay is that there was nothing wrong: all my needs and expectations were met. Comfy beds, quiet room, lively lobby/bar life, convenient location. In particular, the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated; in particular we were fond of Slep the night doorman, Sophia the DJ, and Ed at the front desk. I look forward to my next visit.

Staff were very friendly and attentive, food absolutely delicious and the surroundings ambient. The jazz pianist was very good and the atmosphere of the room felt like one of fun and shared celebration. Two groups nearby were celebrating birthdays and I’d agree that this is definitely a great place for a special occasion.

I recently visited the Roxy with my husband and 19 year old son. We LOVED it! The staff is super attentive and warm, the hotel is FUN, clean and not too bustly or big. It’s got a great VIBE and the location is great. Good value also!

I stayed at the Roxy for 2 nights, however that definitely was not sufficient time to experience everything the hotel had to offer! If you're a music lover and looking for a great location in NYC with lots of shopping and trendy restaurants, this is the place to be. Apart from the food and drinks at the Roxy Bar and Jack's Stir Brew coffee, I thoroughly enjoyed the live jazz music and the hotel's dark/vintage decor. Finally, the Roxy has some of the BEST customer service I've ever experienced and I'd love to return even if solely for that - special shoutout to Dwight and Roger for really going above and beyond to provide recommendations and constantly check in to ensure I enjoyed myself as a solo traveler. Thank you for everything!! Til next time ♡

The point of a hotel is to allow you to rest and sleep in a pleasant environment. It's now 9:45pm and all I hear is the ridiculously loud live band as though they are playing in my room. The hotel rooms look out onto the ground floor, so all the music echoes up. Nothing against the music, but keep it to the club in the hotel, not in the atrium. Impossible to sleep, I have a headache from all the noise and I have an early start tomorrow. Not at all impressed.

The Roxy is a fantastic hotel and have a fabulous staff. The staff has top notch customer service especially Dwight at the front desk. Additionally, Leidy, Collette, Lissy and Daniel were super helpful on all of the details for my trip. BIG KUDOS to Bartenders Mark & Katie who made the Happy Hour spectacular. Gotta check them out whenever you visit New York City.

Have to say that The ROXY hotel goes far above and beyond the typical NYC luxury hotel experience. Being NYC natives, my spouse and I are well familiar with many of the city's current "hot spots." Simply put, The ROXY is light years above the rest. The hotel staff are over the top with care , concern and enthusiasm. The main lobby houses a smokin' hot liquor bar serving up serious cocktails and amazing brews w/ raw oysters as its main fare along with other items that make the selection anything but easy! (Recommending that you make stopping here one of the first things on your vacation to do list!)Sharing space with the Roxy Bar is Roxy's Django Jazz Club and Restaurant .( One of the best kept secrets about this particular dining spot is that it continues to host some of the best jazz artists from near and far, both during and after dinner hours.) The lower level- another amazing treat- and a must see , as it houses a quaint refurbished cinema that shows combined classics, cult favorites and hard to find current films. Seriously- this place brings back memories of "making out "on a first date, back when that was still "a thing" to do (the smell of popcorn, cherry licorice and other treats complete the vibe perfectly.) And let me not forget to mention how we SERIOUSLY became hooked on Jack's Infamous coffee bar which is also housed on the main floor- ...( from one coffee die-hard to another- have a cup of coffee from there and you will be blown away.) Of course, last but not least, and tied for first place among other amazing features found at the Roxy, are the rooms !! FACT: EXPECT TO BE DELIGHTED Each room provides high end comforts ( think major comfortable beds, extra comfy pillows, a snack and liquor station that will seriously spoil you among other treats that are too plentiful to mention.) Imagine all this, while the decor successfully pays homage to various musical icons which can be enjoyed and re-discovered by thumbing through the in room classic collection of vinyl records or spinning them on the in room phonograph. (Warning: .......it just makes you want to sit in the space and enjoy a martini, or two,... etc.) By now you are likely wondering if this review was actually written by a recent guest as opposed to another corporate sponsored optimistic BOT. Do not stay here if you want to get some sleep Its a nice hotel with a cinema which we went to which was great but All the rooms are built around an atrium and the noise is unbearable it is impossible to sleep
