This hotel is modern and fun. It’s well presented and even though it’s presented as a hotel that you do a lot yourself, friendly and attentive staff are always visible. I had an issue in my solo cabin with the aircon that had me up every half hour from 2am-6am with a loud noise,

Private deck off our room.
The parking, which is right in the building is $45 for overnight. That's VERY reasonable for Manhattan! The hotel fee is for your room and internet.

Hi, I had a bill for an extra $300 before I left. I asked about it at "Mission Control" and they said they automatically add $50 per day for "incidentals" in case you charge something to your room, like meals, etc. I hadn't charged anything to my room, so once I had checked out, that extra $300 disappeared and I was never actually charged for it. I hope you had a similar experience!

My family stayed together... we have 2 children who are under 21 years old and that was no problem because they were with us. It's not an "adults only" hotel.

I believe you can, if you call the hotel. I did, it was either another additional amount or I added another day. They were very friendly.

It was offered to us on arrival, without our asking, so I don' know.

"Ask about the room with the private deck"
"Get queen with no view, gives you a lower room number, which allows you to move in and out of the elevators quicker in my opinion."
"Haven't had a bad room yet and I've stayed there four times."
"Ask for a room with the most potential space. These suckers are small."
"We stayed in a Deluxe Queen Suite without the "View" upgrade and still had a nice view down 10th Ave"
