I have stayed at The Gotham twice now when in NYC, the location is perfect, the staff are super helpful and the rooms are spot on, we even had a small balcony on our second stay. The terrace at the top has great views and is just lovely. Both times I have stayed it has been December so cold but dry, making this a lovely spot. You can get to all the major sights from the location, there is a coffee shop on the same row and also a lovely Deli.

What a unique find in the middle of NYC. Close to everything. Extremely friendly staff. Gabby at the front desk is the best!!! Boutique hotel with nice privacy and great balcony views of the city. I found my new favorite hotel in NYC. A++++ experience.

It’s rare I write reviews but the experience I had at Gotham hotel was AMAZING!!! The reception staff last night , ground floor/the 6th and bar staff was superb, very helpful and approachable ! The evening spent in the suite is a MUST as was lovely and then the afternoon tea was perfect and all the staff was more than helpful ! Lasma in particular went that extra mile the waitress and ended our experience wanting to come back.. We will be seeing you soon! Thank you! 💙

This is the very poor hotel in New York, only good features is the location is New York. We booked for 14 days, but air conditioner didnt work well, noisy and no NY views and the reception was bad. Finally I made the claim and they changed it. Do you think that we are Asian people cant speak in English? please check photos and comments by travelers.

We stayed here during our trip for five days. This was our first time in New York City and it was exceptional. Since it was the first time visiting, I spent weeks researching hotels looking at neighborhoods, reviews, room types, everything! I’m so happy we decided on The Gotham! From the front desk to the restaurant there were no issues. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The pictures are exactly like the rooms. We stayed in the king balcony room on the back side of the building which was really cool and quiet. We also stayed in the queen balcony room because we didn’t do our dates correctly lol and thankfully they had a room open. Looking out on the balcony in the queen room was awesome. We are returning over Christmas and have rebooked the queen balcony room and I can’t wait! This room is noisier but it’s not to the point of not being able to sleep. My husband and I live in the country surrounded by cow fields so if I can sleep with the noise level anyone can!
