Surrounded by a collection of diners and restaurants, easy walking distance to the UN or Grand Central Station, and your room may well have a great view of either the Chrysler Building or the Empire State Building. Staff are friendly and really helpful, rooms are a good size, clean. Rooms are noisy - but only from outside. New York drivers...

I believe her name was Amira at the front desk. She was a pleasure to deal with and found me the most fantastic room. I asked if there was a room with a view of the Chrysler Center (as it is my favorite building in the city). She set me up in a multi-room suite , with an outdoor balcony!...

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The front desk staff was really nice and accomodating. The housekeeping staff were really nice as well. asking every morning when we left if we needed service. The rooms are a little dated but i mean cmon were in NYC everything is a bit outdated here. The beds are firm but comfortable. The pillows...

My boyfriend (27) & I (25) stayed one night in this hotel. It was cheap & cheerful! The room was looking a little tired however you could tell the hotel had done its best to try & update it. It was a great size & gave us everything we needed (including a hairdryer). The staff were friendly & helpful- they...

We were in NYC for a combo business/vacation stay recently. The rooms are much larger than most other similarly-priced hotels in the area. Yes, the rooms are a little dated but it was $169/night right in the city. We were three blocks from Grand Central Station. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within one block which was very convenient....

I recently stayed at The St. Giles- The Court hotel for a long weekend stay. I had stayed at this hotel once before but it was many years ago. I will just list the positives & negatives of my stay. Positives: - The pricing was very good for a good located midtown hotel. - The staff that I encountered were...

My 12-year-old daughter was playing with my phone and mistakenly booked a room at The Court for this evening. The minute I got the email confirmation, I called the hotel to explain the mistake. I also explained how, even if I wanted to get into the city today, I couldn't because of the snow storm that has resulted in all...

We stayed for 2 nights and we would stay here again. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but they were big, clean and the location of this property is fabulous. You are a few minutes walk from Grand Central Station. There are shops and restaurants all around you and you are only 10-15 minutes from Times Square. We found...

Incredible size of a room in Manhattan but the facilities are really aged. Hotel is close to Grand Central and near many good Chinese food places. Also, the fan in the room can not be turned off and is noisy at night.

This hotel is located only 3 blocks from Grand Central Station and the Subway which is super convenient! Also the neighborhood includes a lot of nice bars/restaurants and basically everything you need. The rooms are quite big but not very clean. Shower is very basic. The best thing was actually the room's walk-in closet which is super comfortable (especially for...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
