This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Central to everything we did, theater, ceremony, dining, sightseeing, best location for trains and getting around city. Hotel rooms are being upgrade. Beds need it, shower head, perhaps even some redesign of room, but is a classic smallish NYC hotel room.

Walking distance of great food, transportation and shopping. Staff was courteous and very helpful We needed our ice packs frozen to transport our Junior's cheese cakes home and they were so accommodating.

Advantage: The hotel's location is pretty good. It's very convenience to take subway, bus, and train. But we had the not good experience this time. When I check-in, the guy just gave me the key, then I check again about breakfast because I remember my fee including the breakfast. The guy let me check that, I feel surprised. About 10 mins later,he told me I had. Then he print the information again. I thick he did not careful to do that. When we check-out online, the information with check-out online is incorrect lead me to waste time to deal with it. The AC in the room is very noisy.

Our stay at this Hyatt was great. Staff was very nice, room was small but comfortable and quiet. Location is walkable to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden as well as Chelsea, Times Square, Broadway and more as long as you are comfortable walking about 20 minutes. I am a Hyatt member and they knew my birthday was coming up and even gifted us a bottle of wine. Nice!

The rooms are small. Besides the lobby, everything else seems to be unclean. Lobby bathrooms were dirty and there were stains on the shower. Also, the room seemed to have some dust and one of the beds was wet in the center. We had two queen beds, so we avoided the center of one of them because there was a wet substance when we entered the room after check-in. Staff was fine.
