Excellent location, quiet and friendly. Rooms are good sized for NYC and beds are fine…not the best but fine for the weekend. The best part of this place is the staff. Angel at the bar is OUTSTANDING and everyone else was equally as great. Two thumbs up!
This hotel is nice, new, the location is perfect in NYC, the customer service is really good, people are nice and helpfull but the rooms are really small, if you have a choice, the Hyatt at 36th street is much better, rooms are really spacious…
The staff make the hotel. They really care about you and do a great job to make you feel welcome. Hotel is in a good location and my room was quiet. I would highly recommend the hotel as it is fairly new and the staff are incredible - from the check in staff to the cleaners. The rooms are on the small side, but super clean and totally fine for NY.
Stayed there for almost a week, great location allow me to walk to most of my meetings around the area and very close to the subway, everywhere around the city area just 15-20 mins away. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. Overall very good and recommended for people traveling to NYC.
I stayed for three nights with my sister Sunday, October 9, 2022 to Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The rooms are extremely small. We had a room that sleeps four and we could barely walk around together with just the two of us. I've stayed in numerous hotels in New York and this by far is the smallest. The check-in process was very easy. There is a restaurant on site that is open and limited hours. Breakfast is 8am to 11am and dinner is 5pm to 11pm . The restaurant menu is Very small. There is a really nice rooftop area. The bar is not open though. So you would have to bring your own. On our first day housekeeping never showed up to clean our room. At 4 PM we finally called the front desk and asked for new towels and to empty our garbages. The housekeeping manager came up & apologized. Brought us new towels and emptied our garbage. I would not recommend Hyatt herald because of all the things I wrote in this review…
Close to Times Square, trains, K-Town, can easily get uptown/downtown, etc but beds were terrible, low to the ground, mattress needs to be updated/firmer plus room is tiny. So, if you are looking for location, good choice, but not for a good night’s rest!
I wish I would’ve booked a different hotel. I guess I’ll learn experience from seeing the hotel condition. The room was very small. The bathroom condition was not pleasant. The elevator was not working and small.
long weekend get away with friends, and we love our hotel for it's location and the staff - since we love to shop it is close to Macy's and all the main retailers. liquor store next door for our champagne for the happy hour in our room getting ready to go out, lots of restaurants option. the room also super cool because a lot of storage for 3 girls in the room, we needed it! They have a breakfast at the hotel for a very reasonable price. the staff were super helpful, we needed additionnel towels in the room, less then 10 min and it was there, answering our questions with a smile and we use the valet service and it went super well.
Tiny rooms and an extremely expensive hotel. Although it was located where I needed to be I will not stay there again. I prefer to walk a little than paid the absurd amount they charged. Also personnel during night shift were not so friendly and helpful.
The service and attention to detail in making sure you’re being treated as a friend or as a family member rather than a booking number was heart warming and outstanding. Berni at the front desk made sure to go above and beyond in making and accommodating where possible so my trip can be as pleasant as possible. The location is great, right in between or close by where the fun and eatery happens. I highly recommend staying there.
