Chose this hotel for my friend's 40th birthday trip to New York. Fantastic hotel, great location, close enough for everywhere that you would want to visit. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting New York.

This hotel is a little gem. It's not huge which means no waiting around on elevator for starters. It was our second time staying here and I have to admit it didn't live up to our first stay. Our room was smaller, which wasn't much of an issues but we were expecting a fridge again as it was advertised with...

6 nights at this hotel was a great way to start our first visit to NYC. One night in a small double, then 5 in a 1 bed/studio (which had 2 TVs, kitchenette, a sofa and dining table/desk). It was nice to be able to spread out and make our own breakfasts. The rooms are quite compact but ours was...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night after seeing a show in the city. I was really blown away with everything this hotel has to offer, from the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the fantastic location of the hotel. The hotel is located right in the middle of Rockefeller Center, surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants....

I was originally travelling on my own so I picked this hotel because of the location, and was not disappointed! It certainly helped that the room faced right onto Rockefeller Centre! The view was great. My son then decided to join me so I requested twin beds which they couldn't guarantee but said they'd provide a fold a way bed...

Everything is just as it should be at the Jewel. Not inexpensive but we are talking the center of Manhattan. My stay at the Jewel this week was just perfect. Great location for theatre, shopping, Central Park, St Patrick's Cathedral.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, filtered water stations are a great bonus. Only negative is that the beds are on the harder side and my husband and I didn't get a great nights sleep for this reason. I would stay here again.

I stayed at the sister property, Manhattan Centre Hotel, in the past and I wasn't disappointed with the Jewel. It is located down the street and has great views of Rockefeller Plaza. The staff is really nice and provided great service with a friendly demeanor. We particularly enjoyed Chris and Kenny. We definitely would return to the hotel since it...

If you wish to be close to all the main midtown Manhattan attractions this is the hotel to consider. Just around the corner from St. Patrick's Cathedral it is well equipped and secure. The rooms are small but well designed with air conditioning which is not over noisy. Two adults and one child felt comfortable in the room which had...

This hotel comes on my highest recommendation for a base in NYC, it has a great location and as a small boutique hotel, you get the added-extra of a personable staff. It’s central to 5th Avenue and Rockerfeller Centre, it’s only a 10 minute walk to Times Square, ESB and across the road from Radio City. The room service is...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
