I received a discounted price of $99 per night and booked a trip to NYC just because the hotel room was so cheap (booked through TravelZoo). I feel like I got an absolute steal of a deal because this place was very modern, clean, updated, and the room was bigger than I anticipated it would be. The shower was a...

I stayed here for a week in December for business. Arrival is alright. The entrance to the hotel may be a bit hidden to the untrained eye, and walking into the building, you would think you're not in a hotel as you're just met with an elevator bank. Checkin was smooth, and the cookies are great—they are at every DoubleTree,...

Dear Sidney K, I have to apologize for your elevator experience. We try our best to manage the elevators which are actually very fast elevators - 35 seconds from ground to the top. That said with multiple stops they can, at times, make you feel like you are in rush hour traffic. I am glad, that everything else worked out.

The hotel had very good staff working there who were very friendly. Lovely place with a nice reception area. It is located in the financial district and there is a metro station entrance 70mts from the hotel.

We were home for Christmas and needed a night away...waaaay away. Meanwhile, we thought my hubby lost his wedding ring. We called the the front desk for a flashlight. Instead of giving us a flashlight to look around, the front desk sent engineers who helped us look by getting down on the floor looking through under over inside and behind...

We had issues with the shower. It would start okay then as you rinsed shampoo out the water would get ice cold. Then, as you adjusted the temperature, it would get scalding hot! Spoke to front desk. They were waiting on technician to fix it. So, we had no hot water for one day. I had to skip a shower...

Situated in the Financial District, the Hilton Doubletree on Stone street offers a quiet and peaceful respite to the energy of Manhattan. We stay here frequently and appreciate the proximity to parking, the hospitality of the staff, and the charm of historical Stone Street.

I've staying in NYC many times (always in soho, central park, or chelsea) and only stayed at this location because my dad put me here b/c he thought he was going to get Hilton points so I took one for the team. This was one of the worst stays I've ever had in any hotel ever. Yes this hotel is...

Dear katravler, I am truly sorry that this last stay with us fell way below your expectations of us. While it should not, sometimes Murphy's Law does take over despite our best efforts. If you are going to be paying full price for this hotel, please do not do it! The rooms were unfinished, we had to call for maintenance a couple of times, and the receptionists were rude (however, I did enjoy speaking with the Bell-Hops and 2 maintenance men we had to call)

My room smelled very strongly of fried Chinese food but it wasn't worth the hassle to walk back down the 10 flights of stairs with my luggage to the front desk and get a room change.
