The employees are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a safe area close to the subway and easy to get a taxi. The higher you are the better the view because you can see all the lights. They have a Starbucks, which is also good ;).

While this is "just" a courtyard - it is one of the best I've been to. The rooms are nice and very well maintained, and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a couple of times for business and for pleasure and I love the place. In terms of location - I'd say it's most useful on... More

We had rooms 1402 and 1502. The rooms are adequate in size compared to hotels in NYC. The sound -proofing is excellent. Waiting time for elevators is minimal. The king size bed was comfortable. The fitness room is adequate. The bar in the lobby was a great place to socialize with friends till late at night. The staff were friendly... More

Friendly staff and close proximity to subway, about 2 minutes, and numerous eating establishments for every taste. The king room I had is by far one of the smallest of all Courtyards, but very clean and functional. The lobby is very nice and well appointed for the business traveler. The dining area is only open for breakfast. But who cares?... More

Just spent 3 days/2 nights at this Marriott. Great location, easy walking distance to subway. Quick walk to Greenwich Village. For fellow coffee aficionados, Dunkin' D is next door, and Starbucks is in the lobby. The hotel is on a fairly busy street. However, my room faced a neighboring building, so the street noise was minimal. Room was typical NYC... More

This hotel is well located in the SoHo/West Village area of Manhattan. Our room was somewhat small but typical for New York. We had a small refrigerator in the room as well. Everything was spotless. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and a Dunkin Donuts practically next door. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. This is a... More

We had to be at an 8 am breakfast meeting at NYC Genome Center so we stayed, overnight, at the Courtyard By Marriott So Ho. Pleasant, clean, convenient, great staff, upper floor, no noise. What is not to like?? To be truthful, we are fans of the Marriott Chain of Hotels and stay with them, world wide, when ever possible.... More

We checked in on a Saturday around 4:30 pm and were warmly greeted by the front desk "Good afternoon, we have been expecting you" It was a nice way to start.
