My wife and I stayed 6 nights in this hotel. The front desk employees were friendly; but cannot deliver. On our 3rd night, we noticed bad smell from the washroom. Informed the front desk the next morning and was told that they will send a technician to fix it. Came back in the evening and smell was still there. Informed...

Management response:

Dear Teck L - I read your review with great concern, and I have followed up with the staff about it, as it is an opportunity for us to see where we let down a guest, and especially to ensure that we consistently improve. Please give us a call when you're planning your next trip to NYC, so that we...

This modern hotel is very conveniently located between Times Square and 5th avenue. Like most New York hotels the rooms are not overly spacious but this one was larger than average and it never felt cramped. The built in closet cabinet provided more than enough room to keep our things out of the way and the bathroom had a small...

A great place to stay for our 3 night stay in NYC. The staff was superb and housekeeping exceptional. The park across from the hotel was perfect for our Starbucks.

A new, well-designed, and very comfortable hotel convenient to Theatres, Grand Central and numerous restaurants. Nice amenities. Staff was very responsive and helpful. A few blocks to Grand Central making it easy to get around. Bed was most comfortable and rooms are very quiet. Would definitely stay there again and am pleased to recommend.

Its hard to believe that this hotel is in its infancy when the quality of service and hospitality that they offer is up there with those in the business who have been at it for tens of years. Firstly its location, literally a five minute walk from Time Square, which in itself is fantastic. Coupled with the fact that all...

Can't rate this hotel highly enough. The staff are always very helpful and friendly (happily giving directions, tickets to a show or advice on the best form of transport to a certain area). It is a 1minute walk from times square and very central. The rooms are clean and very modern, bathrooms are really nice as well. Only criticism (very...

We spent 3 nights at Cassa in June and we had a lovely experience. Everyone at the hotel was very nice from the front desk to the housekeeping to the engineer! The location was great for being near the theater district and times square. We were also very close to multiple subway lines. I was traveling with my son, husband,...

We are impressed: The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is always arund you to make sure that the stay is perfect. After we were checked in into a smaller...

We just spent an overnight stay At Cassa. What a delightful experience! We were celebrating our anniversary with a weekend trip to the Big Apple. First of all you can't beat the location. They are two blocks up from the heart of the theater area and two blocks to the subway. From the moment we entered the hotel we were...

I booked this hotel purely on location and recommendations from TripAdvisor (and of course price). It was a great choice overall. The location can't be beat: 2 blocks from Times Square where all the action is without the noise of the area, and just a minute walk from 5th Avenue. The staff are very friendly (took time to guide us...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
