Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I was really really worried about booking this hotel because of all the bad reviews that state the hotel cancelled their booking due to the price being too low on booking.com. I booked through booking.com anyway as the offer was too good to be true and got an absolute bargain for 4 nights. Right up until the day of flying I was constantly checking my emails to ensure they hadn't canceled my room and even during the flight I thought what happens if we get there and they've cancelled it. Well, they didn't cancel it and we had a great stay. The rooms are basic, there was no kettle or fridge, no tea or coffee. The rooms are clean and the guys at reception are friendly. This hotel is perfect location to Times Square, it is literally a 5 minute walk. I can't complain about anything because like they say you get what you pay for and this hotel was a steal compared to all the others! Thank you Cassa. :)

Dear CGLEWES, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We appreciate your candor and we are happy that you decided to stay with us after your evaluation of the hotel. Please note that the issue you speak of was experienced solely with Booking.com and it has been rectified. We encourage you to either book via them again in the future or to book directly with us. We do provide some of our amenities upon request but majority of them such as the kettle, tea and coffee and now available in all of our rooms. While we provide refrigerators upon request, we will also have them available in all of our rooms, in the near future. Feel free to come and stay with us again whenever you are in the NYC area. Warm Regards, Guest Services Management

Stayed here for a week for work and was hoping it would be a nice, comfortable. The hotel needs to be renovated. I opened one of the cupboards and the wood is cracked and possibly rotting. I got to my room and I checked out the fridge hoping to get some food to put in there. I found old blackberries! I also got my room cleaned one of the days and while they replaced the k-cup for coffee- they didn’t provide new cups to drink out of.

Read some reviews before coming and wasn’t too sure what to expect. The hotel is spot on. Right bang in the mix. 2 blocks from Times Square and two blocks from a subway station. The rooms are exactly what you need. Comfy bed, tv, fridge and nice and clean. We were on the 7th floor. Never waited once for the lift. Staff friendly and helpful. Always someone at reception to help you. Couldn’t fault it. I’ll be back!!

Cassa is truly an amazing hotel and located at the very center of New York City. The rooms were nice & clean but most importantly I loved how welcoming and professional the reception was. Specifically Stephanie, she hasn’t only checked us in but was always available and ready to help us in anything we needed. She really put the customers first and went out of her way to facilitate us as much as possible. #StephAsManager !!!!!

I was in NYC for one night, decided oaths hotel due to the location and promotional price of $250 for the night which was pretty good. I was disappointed that the KING room I had reserved was not available and was put in a Queen or Full. They did "upgrade" me to a suite, the suite consisted of a small living area and bathroom through a connecting door which I did not discover until the end of the stay almost. I was wondering what upgrade they were talking about since the bedroom part go the room was tiny. The bathrooms wee clean and bright, however the bed had two to three long hairs, maybe from when it was made. I was supposed to have received $30 off my rate but never did. This is a boutique hotel, don't expect large hotel chain service when it comes down to you not being content with the service. This hotel is not worth a penny over what I paid. Do not book it unless it's a good rate under 250.
