Best mini vacation accommodations I’ve ever had. Superior service by all hotel staff at every level. I was skeptical about the bed design but it was shockingly comfortable. The in room food service we ordered was delicious!!
Our family of 4 stayed in the Family Double Double with kitchen. The room was spacious with excellent views of the Chrysler Bldg and the Edge from our beds and even from the bathtub! Hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions, subways, shopping and restaurants. Due to Covid precautions, we did a lot of take-out from nearby restaurants so having the kitchen was convenient. The staff was excellent and facilities were immaculate. My teenagers used the state-of-art gym regularly, and each time we went, we not only found staff in there cleaning, but we had the place to ourselves. From the concierge, to front desk, to housekeeping, everyone at the Langham made our stay pleasant and memorable.
Nice room, friendly and motivated personel. All requests were handled competently and efficiently. Cleaning personel was very efficient and friendly. The one bedroom suite is well appointed and spacious.
Our first time in the city and one that we will never forget. We loved chatting to Jonathan when we returned from a day of exploring and Amal and Victoria went out of their way for us. Beautiful hotel and gym facilities. Amal, Victoria and Jonathan were amazing and we would like to extend a special thank you to them.
We've tried different hotels in or near Murray Hill and this one was a winner! Excellent location with quality service, professional staff, a beautiful and spacious suite with a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn't wake up all night long and the temp controls worked well so it wasn't too hot or stuffy.
I was in room 513 and can not explain how LOUD the noise from the street below me was. Your GM should spend the night in this room and experience this nightmare. NYC resident for 20+ years - so I get Manhattan road noise but there is something wrong here. You have to demand that the city repair the metal grates - repair the potholes on the south side of the hotel btw 5-6 Streets. I was at your hotel running 2 events - and did not sleep more than 1 hour total for my 1st 2 nights. For my 3rd night, I purchased sleep spray for $10 and the Calm app for $68 and turned up " rain storm" volume using blue tooth to your Bose speaker - these things combined with complete mental exhaustion shutdown, I was able to sleep. An absolute nightmare. You should be ashamed of putting your guest through this.…
I’m not the type of person to leave reviews for anything, but here I go… I stayed at the Langham in April 2022 and I can’t say enough nice things about the place. I indicated in my reservation that we were celebrating my son’s 11th birthday as well as his first visit to the city. When we arrived, we were surprised with an upgrade to a suite that faced the Empire State Building as well as cute little NY themed chocolates and treats in the room for him. My son and I could not get over the perfect room and view. On top of that, the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The doormen, front desk staff, food service agents, and concierge are the best that I’ve encountered in any hotel. I booked a car service with the concierge to pick us up and drop us off at JFK and the process was literally as easy as picking up the phone (thank you Steve and Thomas!) The room service menu had a lot of choices (food wasn’t bad either!), the room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. CVS is steps away if you need anything and the hotel is within walking distance of all the major midtown tourist sites. The most important thing for me, however, was the feeling of being “safe”. As a single mom traveling with a kid, I had some concerns before our trip since it was in the same week as the recent subway shooting. I did not feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point during our stay. Little security measures like needing a room key to operate the elevator and having additional door locks in the room were a nice touch. When I asked my son about his favorite part of the city, his answer was “The Langham”! Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back for sure!…
There is something magical about returning to a place where you are not just known, but also welcomed. The Langham New York Fifth Avenue is one such a place. Even before we walk through the door, we are greeted by name in a way that is both genuine and warm. That greeting sets the tone for every aspect of our stay, from check-in to check-out. Many hotels make you feel welcome as a guest, the Langham somehow makes you feel welcome as a friend. I know it sounds schlocky, but it matters. When that experience is coupled with outstanding accommodations and location, you have a winner!
Without doubt the people working in this hotel made the whole experience amazing From Shane in the Club Room which was also fantastic to Shaun at reception went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome .
Great location, (walking distance to Times Square, library, Central Park, shops) friendly professional staff, superb filet mignion at room service, clean and elegant stay a fine reflection of our visit
