Very nice hotel in New York with an amazing location, right next to Broadway. You can go straight from your room to see the shows. Truly stunning views from the upper floors. The breakfast is great and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Location is the best. Not exactly at Time Square but a good walking distance to every thing. They have the most friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast is great, but it's the same things, no variety even on pastries.

My husband regularly stay at the Intercontinental when in Manhattan for work and I occasionally stay too. He picked it in the beginning for the points program. He's glad he did as he really likes staying there. The location is great, close to everything, and the subway stop is literally right next to the hotel. Everyone is very welcoming, professional...

Literally 1 block from Times Square this hotel offers great comfort and customer care. The Ambassador club staff made my day by helping with additional room bookings, dinner reservations and directions with greatest of consideration. Rooms are spacious enough to make your stay comfortable. Surrounded by an enormous wining and dining selection in NY and easy access to subway. I...

We were close to Times Square, Hell's Kitchen and the Theater District. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large shower in the bathroom. The wifi was fast and complimentary for up to 10 devices when you are a club member. As a Platinum member we received an upgrade to a higher floor room with a beautiful view. I...

The number one thing about this hotel is its location. it is only a couple of minutes walk from Times Square but far enough away so as not to be noisy. If you want Broadway shows they are close by as well, we could see two of the big theaters (Kinky Boots and Jersey Boys) over the road from our...

Came with our family of four for 4 nights and could not be happier. We got a sky view room that was worth every penny. Easy subway access. Tons of food choices in Times Square and Hells Kitchen. Fantastic bathrooms. In house prices are a little high ($20 Manhattan), but in this neck of the woods, not too far out...

A nice hotel close to Times Square, well known for their service Intercontinentals have a high standard of service. Specious room with 2 double beds and all expected amenities. I did not like that they only had 1 pair of sleepers instead of 2 and that the TV was limited to a few channels and not the full TV spectrum...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
