Very impressed with the facility. Location, cleanliness, security all first rate. Employees could not be more accommodating. Rooms are on the smaller side, but they are adequate. Adjacent restaurant works.
Checked into this hotel on short notice on quick visit to NYC w/daughter. Staff was excellent and helped us get a nice clean comfortable room with two beds. Rooms not huge, but it's NYC!!! Room did have some items missing, like cups and ice buckets mostly related to Covid protocols, but staff would provide any items if requested. Staff provided good information about where to go and what to do, as well as clise by food options. Close to subway stops on 7th Ave at 23rd and 28th streets. Walking distance to the highline, Hudson yards and Times square. Great coffee shop around corner called 7 grams which was a huge plus. Free in room wifi with decent throughput. The rooftop bar seemed cool though we didn't use it and many of the othe amenities on site. A huge bonus is there is a close self-park option at a reduced daily rate that did not have in and out privileges that we used to park our vehicle. On checkout day hotel securely checked our bags before we needed to get our car so we didn't have to worry about them on our last day in the city. Only complaint is the in room fridge was solely dedicated as a paid minibar so could not be used to refridgerate purchased beverages or other items. We paid less than $200 a night and would highly recommend at that approximate price point. Would highly recommend!…
I will let the facts speak for themselves without any emotion - I checked into to the Hilton Hotel Fashion District on April 3rd and checked out on April 10th - I stored my luggage in the luggage room and went for a meeting and returned 4 hours later to retrieve my luggage. - I requested for a hotel taxi for the airport and departed - I received my credit card statement on April 26th and found out that I had been charged an additional $800 - After calling the hotel I was told that I had been charged the amount for breaking a television - I was not communicated with during my stay, after I checked out and after I returned via email or phone about this charge - It is an utterly false claim as I had not damaged the television. I had not even turned it on during my stay at the hotel - I have tried to resolve the matter in an amicable manner with the hotel but they keep insisting on the claim - Being a Hilton Honors member for many years and having stayed at multiple properties for my business, I am utterly shocked at this behavior which is tantamount to extortion I would ask the readers to not only stay clear of this hotel but also to spread the word of this extortion by the hotel…
Breakfast restaurant terrible. Seating layout horrendous for covid and any sense of not sitting on top of your neighbor. HK staff maskless in elevators! Rooms small. homeless folks in front of hotel sleeping on sidewalk in broad daylight. restaurant staff poorly trained.
My first trip to New York. I chose to stay in the fashion district because I love to shop and when doing my research this area would be where our family would be spending a great deal of our time. We planned to see a NBA game and take trip to Time Square amongst other things. This hotel was clean, in a safe are and within walking distance to Broadway, Time Square and Madison Square Garden! Everything we needed was under mile walk. There are lovely staff to help you navigate the busy New York life and a roof top bar with picturesque scenery. No complaints here about the hotel at all. If I may add one warning!! In typical NYC fashion parking is an issue. There is a garage maybe two blocks down and you pay per day. I was skeptical but our ride was safe there for four days.
So disappointed with the lack of atmosphere, welcome and service. You feel like a burden. Had to ask for shower gel, shampoo, something to drink out of (even then crappy single use plastic cups only, I’m afraid) no welcome hello, door man scowled when we said good morning 🤣 Barman wouldn’t give us ice. It was our 24th wedding anniversary, New York didn’t disappoint! Everyone everywhere in NY we visited is super lovely. If I was on business trip this hotel would do (beds are comfy) although shower was freezing and the coffee machine didn’t work. If it’s a welcome you are after choose somewhere else.
The rooms are nothing like shown in pictures. The room was small, dimly lit, broken switches in the bathroom, dirty coffee maker and dusty surfaces . The staff is not at all supportive. In spite of being a Hilton Gold member, I was charged for the upgrade. The hallways were very depressing and not very clean. Overall, I would never stay at this Hilton property. No complimentary drinking water
Great location. Friendly staff. Walking distance to train, 40/40 club, and several thrift stores. Rooms were a little tight, but it’s typical NY. Great breakfast, although not complimentary. Can’t wait to return when the weather is warmer!
We had an amazing time and stayed for 6 nights. Rooms are tight which is to be expected but staff and housekeeping did an awesome job keeping it tidy and replenishes towels and shampoo daily! The area was great, walking distance to great restaurants, morning coffee, some thrift stores down the street and a fun piano bar across the street to boot’ the bar upstairs is nice too with beautiful views
Close to train station, many many restaurants, Flatiron building, supermarkets, bodegas, liquor store. Easy access everywhere. The rooftop bar is an excellent choice for sunset drinks, I’ll return to this place if I have to go back to NYC.
