My husband and I stayed at the Times Square Place (APT. 24D) for 5 nights. The bathroom tile had mildew, the shower curtain was filty, bath mat was torn. There were no blinds, curtains, etc. in the living room so we lacked any privacy. The management said that was because the unit had a "city view". What???? Also, there were...

When we rented the room, we were aware that it was not a hotel, however, we did expect something more than what we received. The view is fabulous ( we were located in the 39th floor) and the location is excellent (right next to a subway station and close to Broadway street), however, the room was not clean and ready...

Below is a list of problems (all documented with photos!) with the apartment we rented in Chelsea in Manhattan. It shows blatant disregard of the apartment's functionality, upkeep, and even potentially, resident safety: * The tub filled up with putrid water and did not drain after use. In addition, there appeared to be no overflow cap at the rear of...

We stayed at Time Square Place for 6 days. Let me tell you, the room was filthy, the furniture was very uncomfortable, the kitchen smelled like something died in it and was left there, and bathroom was very dirty. They gave us 5 towels for 3 people, no dish towels, or oven mits for the kitchen. The apartment was barely...

Got off the train at Penn Station and made our way over via the subway. It was only 1 stop away. It is a few blocks from Times Square, not a far walk at all. Once we walked inside it was pretty impressive. There's a seating area and right past that are doors to an outside garden with a fountain....

complete cowboys, pure and simple. apartment was double-booked on 43rd St and they wanted to send us to 71st St, um, no way - that's too far out. then they had an 'upgrade' except there was no key for the door, just a buzzer to get in then a keycode for the apartment, um, no. absolute joke of a company...

We booked to stay here through booking.com - arrived after travelling for 14 hours to be told they had double booked the apartment (incidently the appartments are not called Times Square Place as we were informed by the concierge at the front desk and he was 'sick of them doing this' - obviously Woogo do this to make their locations...

Just got back from a 4 day visit to New York with my daughter. We didn't need any of the frills associated with a hotel. This place suited our needs. Central location, clean and tidy. My only complaint had to do with the non stop noise from the traffic. This is what you get for staying in such a central,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
