First time stay at this wonderful hotel. It has a nice quiet location and within easy walking distance to all you could want. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is top notch. Make sure to stop in the bar as it is one of the most beautiful in the city. I think I found my new favorite in NYC.

What a joyful haven this is - a perfect location in Soho, with ultra-comfortable furnishings, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Crosby Street, and a shower with the best water pressure ever! The happy staff meets your every need... and then surprises you with a treat when you least expect it. The restaurant (the Crosby Bar) has a wonderful menu and great service at affordable prices. But, the most unique part of this hotel is that it is an art museum unto itself. The lobby, restaurant, elevators, courtyard and guest rooms are filled with Kit Kemp designed furnishings and art - even the dinnerware is art. The blasts of beautiful colors in every space surround you with joy. For a special trip to NYC, this is the place!

I have stayed at Crosby a few times. First was during the pandemic and they were super grateful we chose Crosby as the place was empty. We were impressed and have chosen Crosby for all our visits since 2020 and recommended it to numerous friends. All visits were great. Our most recent visit was on Monday night last week in June 2023- it was great too! We checked out on Tuesday and then went to New England and were flying out of JFK on a Saturday evening so thought we would come into NYC early Saturday, leave our bags at the Crosby, and then do NYC touristy things before collecting our bags in the afternoon and heading out to JFK. Probably would have had lunch at Crosby. Crosby said no! They said they were full and their luggage store had no space for our 3 bags! I thought that maybe the email came from a junior person, but when I re-read the email I was amazed that it came from a Manager! He didn't even offer us an alternative. I found a great app called Bounce which allows you to find places to store luggage so all turned out fine. Was actually better since I found a place right next to Grand Central. I am always amazed at how short sighted a business can be. I have spent thousands of dollars with Crosby and they were not able to help in any way, nor offer an alternative. I will look for another place to stay going forward.

We booked the Crosby Street Hotel for a trip originally planned for March 2020 which we finally took in March 2023 for my birthday. We spent a lot of time researching hotels and felt that The Crosby Street Hotel offered the comfort, location and style that we were looking for. We have been lucky enough to stay in some very good hotels all over the world. The pre-stay experience with The Crosby Street Hotel was very good with lots of interaction between ourselves and reception about our stay and also with the concierge team for suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to book and my husband briefed the hotel that it would be my birthday during our stay. On arrival we discovered a very stylish hotel, with beautiful details and a comfortable well-appointed room. A bottle of champagne had been left with a note wishing Mr Jones a happy birthday - we laughed it off but felt that this lack of attention to detail was a bit disappointing after lots of contact previously. Our stay was comfortable, we slept well and our breakfast and the evening meal we had at the hotel bar were quite good - although we did feel that the service was really not that special. In fact we generally felt that the service we experienced from most of the staff at the hotel was disappointing - we barely got a greeting from anyone and the overall impression, we felt, was one of indifference to us. We were not expecting this after the very helpful and friendly email contact before our stay. However the biggest surprise to us has been after our stay when we discovered (when the bill was emailed to us on our return home) that we had been charged for items in the mini bar not consumed by ourselves - a vodka and a coke. As these are not things we drink and we had not consumed anything from the mini bar during our stay at all, we knew immediately that this was a mistake and sent the hotel an email, expecting an apology and a refund for the amount inaccurately charged. Despite sending a follow up email, we are still waiting weeks after our return! Whilst a tiny amount of money compared to the amount spent at the hotel, this experience has left us very disappointed and very unlikely to book again.

On a quiet cobbled stoned street in the centerfold of New York city's vibrant Soho, sits the Crosby Street Hotel. A whimsical property, full of art and exotic patterns, gives off the aura of a bold design. If you are out and about, Bloomingdales is around the corner for you shopping pleasure or hop the nearby subway and go anywhere. My pleasing suite featured floor-to-ceiling warehouse styled windows with gorgeous views over Soho and lower Manhattan. The space felt like a posh apartment and like it's sister hotel , 'The Whitby" , it was adorned with a headboard that tried to reach the sky. The bed was comfy, good lighting, looked exceptionally fresh and lots of storage. The highlight of the chamber; however, was the bevy of elegant fabrics, elaborate wallpaper, art touches and above all, the rainbow of colors. The bath was well appointed with all the standard potions. The Crosby Bar and Restaurant is an all day-part eatery and drinkery. My fly over the menu revealed that the kitchen executed dishes like Grilled octopus & manila clams to Linguini lobster. My array of dishes included Roasted bone marrow, Grilled lamb porterhouse capped off with a lemon tart.........all hit a home run on the taste scale. The bar is a popular gathering hole for guests, locals and New Yorkers in general. Guests can partake of 'Afternoon Tea' and after all the champagne, cookies and finger sandwiches can burn off the calories in the Crosby gym. Other amenities include a Sculpture Garden, a cozy English Drawing room, a cinema for weekly screening. a large outside terrace as well as event spaces. So, if you looking for Soho accommodations that exhibits style, great design and sophistication..........then try the.....Crosby Street Hotel........Galaxy of Color.

Where to begin? This is a gem of a hotel in a fabulous location in SOHO. Bright, fresh and welcoming - as another reviewer stated it is « a feast for the eyes » with approchable and whimsical art to admire around every corner. Our room was gorgeous and very quiet for sleeping. Comfy bed, chic fun decor, phenomenal mini bar (try the animal crackers!) and some truly thoughtful details like a full length mirror, buttons on padded hangars for dresses etc, salon quality hairdryer, and a fantastic make-up mirror. I would go back for the crazy good water pressure alone. The gym is small but has everything you need including Woodway treadmills that are a joy to run on ( and I usually say that I would rather poke needles in my eyes than run on a treadmill). However, there is an Orange Theory steps away on Crosby St and Soul cycle Noho is a 10 minute walk away if you need a couple of workout options. The staff were outstanding, friendly and professional. Michael and Ruth in the bar and restaurant were standouts as well as Megan at the front desk. We received excellent restaurant recommendations from Thomas who could not have been more helpful and is a great ambassador for the hotel. We can’t wait to go back!
