I stayed in La Sienna in April and it was amazing. The first thing is the owner Ivette. What a great host ! First she makes you feel welcome but the place is well maintained. Our room was spacious and very clean. The place is very convenient also as you have the express trains around the corner so time square... More

La Sienna was a perfectly nice place to stay while visiting New York. We stayed for a week and encountered few problems, besides a few incidents where the owner forgot a couple of things when we first checked in. The shared bathroom wasn't really an issue at all, and location-wise it couldn't be easier to get to both central Manhattan... More

Great experience, for place, hospitality and privacy. Cozy bedroom with a bed very confortable (I slept very well...) and bathroom perfectly cleaned (better than an hotel). Last but not least: I met a wonderful dog! Yvette is a perfect host.

This place was perfect. They have got a great recipe for a guest house in New York. It was a pleasure to stay, and if we ever visit NY again, we will 100% be coming back. Absolutely immaculate bathroom, kitchen was always spotless. Great coffee available for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and smelt of fabric conditioner. Very nice... More

This cute place is well put together. The owner is always on-site and available. Very friendly and kept up with my friend and I while we stayed.

It's a low-cost option in a part of town that is being gentrified. I'm a sturdy guy and felt comfortable walking around the area, but wouldn't recommend a solo, late-night stroll to a... More

La Sienna was an absolutely fantastic place to stay and I recommend it to everyone. Yvette and Carlos were wonderful and kind hosts, and were nothing but lovely to us during our stay. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks between Christmas and New Years, and we loved it so much that we came back to stay again later... More

It's a great place to stay in NYC: Firstly, it's cheaper than everywhere else in New York City. It's close to subway stations, and really easily reachable from La Guardia Airport (just one bus and you are 2 blocks away from the hotel). Another good thing about this place is that they don't charge any additional taxes to its price,... More

I recently spent three nights in the first floor front apartment in La Sienna in Harlem.I was a little worried that being right my the front door might be noisy with people coming and going at all hours of the day and night, but I have never slept better in my life. The bed is comfortable, and the rules on... More

Both of us loved La Sienna. It's of the utmost importance that you have in mind that La Sienna is an Hostel and not an Hotel. Having said this I'll begin my review. I'll start with the overall experience and then I'll talk about the rooms. Yes, La Sienna is located in the Harlem. But you have a Police Station... More
