Really enjoyed our stay here in March. Yvette is a terrific host and will fill you in on all the best places to go. Amsterdam ave is close for good food and ask yvette about the cookie place, best in nyc! A couple of blocks from the subway and the A train will take you directly from the airport. We... More

Really enjoyed staying here last summer. I came very early but the hostess was really kind to let me leave my bags there beforehand. She and her sister were super friendly and helped me find some of the best places in New York! It's at an ideal location close to a few Metro (and one train) stations. One of the... More

A great guesthouse in Harlem. Yvette is such a nice owner and will fill your head with great places to eat and stories about the area. It's located on a beautiful street and the house is an amazing brownstone. Close to the 125th subway, where you are one express stop from Midtown and there are lots of great restaurants nearby,... Perfect location, close to the subway station and restaurants. Really nice area, the guest house is located on a very quiet street, perfect to get a good night sleep after exploring the city all day. The owner is so nice and helpful. We asked if we could drop our bags early in the morning (8am) and, to our surprise, the... More

Really good value for money, can't find better in New York, and a convenient location, near the subway (A train). Really comfortable bed too. Slight hiccup with the wifi occasionally, which seemed to be a little temperamental. Very helpful owner too with lots of good tips for staying in the city. Had a clean bathroom too which is always good!

We stayed 8 nights. The room was great comfortable for three with bathroom and Kitchen.located on 1st floor. Very good beds and vey quiet: we slept remarkably well. This Harlem street wa quite charming with its renovated browstone houses. The best value for money you can find in NYC in our opinion. Yvette is a fantastic hostess. Excellent free Wifi... More

This was a "Guest House", not a hotel. Our sleeping room was small but clean, owner came into the room more than we liked while we were out, but nothing was missing. Room was priced right. Missed having a bathmat or a hand towel in the bath. Shared area with microwave, toaster and a private cabinet there for our room... More

I would NOT recommend this place in the slightest. We had booked with La Sienna and noticed that their latest check-in was at 11pm, so we decided to call to see if a later check-in would be ok because our flight lands at 10pm. The woman on the was angry straight away, saying that we wouldn't get there until 3... More

Latest check in time is 11PM. I have it posted so their are no surprises. He called me because his flight of 10PM would not get in until 12AM. Which means he would not arrive until 3AM. This is a late September booking he has plenty of time to find something else. I will not check him in at 3AM.... More

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights here in July. Beautiful brownstone home with cute living quarters. It was well priced for the hospitality that was received. Only thing is for summer, not all rooms have air conditioning. Yvette was very helpful, accommodating and inviting. Great spot if you want a local experience in NYC, its about 15 min ride... More

I had a weekend trip planned to go see a concert in NYC on July 17 & of course I needed a place to stay. Staying anywhere in Manhattan is expensive especially for someone who was traveling solo like I was. After some research through here & other sites, I found La Sienna. In addition, I found out a buddy... More
