The hotel was lovely. Very clean, well appointed rooms. The bed was comfortable. We had a room with a terrace which was wonderful to have morning coffee sitting outside. The staff were all welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay terrific. We hope to stay again soon!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at the Atezen last minute because VP Mike Pence took over 2 floors at the hotel we were supposed to be staying at... And we're glad he did! The building is unassuming from the outside and definitely on the "boutique" side, but the overall stay was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive anytime we interacted and they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. They were always professional and always had a smile while still making you feel at home. The rooms were small, but the mattresses were very comfortable. Next year we are planning on staying here again and I'm just waiting for management to call me so I can book my King Terrace Suite for more room next time. Hats off to the staff we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with- Giuseppe, Javier, Kathy, Michell and especially Carmelo who made sure we got everything we needed and found every place we were searching for!

Room Tip: All rooms seemed to be very quiet. I'd ask for a terrace suite for the extra space.

This hotel couldn’t have been lovelier! My husband and I stayed for a quick one night “staycation” to soak up the city before moving cross-country and we needed a clean, comfy place to crash after a full, hot day of touristing. Full disclosure, the Petite Queen room is, in fact, the tiniest hotel room I’ve ever seen, but it was just what we needed, as we just had backpacks for our overnight and no large luggage. The room could also work nicely for a quick solo business trip, but if you’re staying longer, one of the larger rooms would be worth it. The night guard who checked us in couldn’t have been more pleasant, despite it being 12:30am when we arrived, and the receptionist at check out was also very friendly and made sure we enjoyed everything. There’s an $11 “resort fee” which covers the 2 waters, chips, biscoff, and nespresso in the room which was a welcome and thoughtful touch. There were so many small details, like a black make up towel, nice toiletries, convenient outlets, and a full length mirror that made this room really stand out. Not to mention the updated, sophisticated design of the rooms, and the large, totally luxurious shower. The blackout curtains and silent A/C made it very easy to sleep in. My only VERY minor complaint was the pillows, which are the kind that look fluffy and then kind of deflate as soon as you lie on them. I prefer something a bit more supportive and substantial. But would absolutely recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat, hopefully for longer next time!

Going to stay here again. Convenient to subway. Friendly helpful staff, especially Francisco, Carmelo and Javier. Comfortable room, although a little warm, I would have liked to open the window. I was on an upper floor. Only downside, my wife and I were accosted by several homeless on John Street, and the smell of urine on the sidewalks neighboring was appalling. This hotel is a gem in the sea of homeless, trash, and foul odors. The hotel is clean and the staff obviously care. I'll stay again soon, but hope the NYC Mayor decides to get his head out of his ass and do something about the street issues.

This hotel is very nice and focuses heavily on excellent customer service. We has a very quick visit to NY however if we ever go back we will stay here again. All personnel were extremely helpful from the doormen, to the front desk to housekeeping. Hotel is extremely clean and smells good as well. The entire staff was extremely helpful however,The one person that stood out for us was Carmelo. He was a world of knowledge when we needed any recommendations or on how to navigate through the city. Definitely recommend this hotel.
