We really enjoyed our stay at the Distrikt Hotel. We were travelling with a 9 month old baby and this hotel was the first in the USA that had our travel cot waiting for him. Amazing shower and bathroom, fantastic products, big TV, comfortable bed. We used room service a bit and the menu and the food isn't the best...

We stayed here from 29th oct for four nights and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fact. There were 8 in our group and we all felt that the service was second to none. The staff at front desk couldn't have been more helpful, printing off restaurant recommendations, giving directions and weighing a lot of ladies suitcases to allow redistribution...

Just returned from 4 night stay at The Distrikt. Couldn't fault it other than would have preferred it to be a couple of blocks east. Not a particularly nice walk back when dark. Wouldn't stay again but only due to location.

This hotel lives up to the reviews. We arrived after a diversion to Boston due the snow storm, tired and dispirited, but from the moment we stepped through the hotel doors we were given a warm friendly welcome. The lobby and breakfast room are fun and contemporary, the rooms extremely spacious, with an amazingly comfortable mattress, not found in many...

We just returned from our weekend at the Distrikt Hotel. We were delighted with our decision regarding hotels. The location was perfect for the theaters, great restaurants, museums, and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the bellmen who were just off the charts wonderful. The rooms were well equipped, spotless, and quiet. Temperature control was individual...

We liked this hotel. We were looking for a good place to stay, reasonably central, reasonably priced and with some style. The Distrikt was ideal, the room small but clean and neat, and ours had a nice view of The Hudson. Staff were very helpful. The location is perfectly ok; it's opposite a travel hub, but very close to Times...

Have just returned from my first stay at The Distrikt, and hopefully it wont be my last. The hotel was perfect for my stay. Ideal location - in walking distance from pretty much the whole city, close to Times Square & the theatre district. The room I had was immaculate - clean, fresh with excellent facilities (free wifi, big telly,...

We recently spent four brilliant nights in the Distrikt hotel. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and helpful giving very honest opinons about local restaurants/ services. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff seemed genuinely interested in whether or not we had had a good day. We arrived early but we were still able to check in to...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
