Fantastic place, we stayed deluxe king view,no noise from other guests. Nice thick thermal windows to keep out sound. Great people, loved it will definitely go there again. Right next to port authority, leave your car or rental at home.

Great little boutique hotel, and a fantastic value! I had booked and paid in advance, and had to change my plans at the last minute. Unfortunately, this meant I had to pay for 2 nights that I wasn't able to actually stay at the hotel, but nonetheless I would still recommend this hotel highly. In fact, I just booked it...

We stayed in Distrikt for one week, we were very impressed with the check in/check out service and the room was fantastic! We were not impressed with the service for breakfast in the mornings, I think this is due to a lack of staff in this section. We often had to stand and wait to be seated and it took...

My wife and I chose the Distrikt because of its convenient location to the Broadway theatres. All the shows that we pre-booked were within reasonable walking distance of the hotel(25 minutes or less). This location served us very well and during our 4 nite stay we covered most of the Manhattan/Broadway area by foot(from 34th to 54th streets and from 3rd...

July 13-17 2013......This was our first trip to New York, we were celebrating my 40th birthday as a family and we were very impressed! We were welcomed by very friendly staff who checked us in swiftly and showed us to our room which was on the top floor with an amazing view of the city towards the river. We went...

I travelled here for my boyfriend's 40th birthday in March 13. It was his first time to NYC so it really was designed to be a special treat. The hotel is very modern & clean, but on a bit of an unsavoury road. It is quite dark & has a couple of "adult" shops around. There was also lots of...

I stayed here for two nights in July 2012 and it is a hotel that my friend and I still talk about. The hotel is in a FANTASTIC location where it is close enough to Times Square that you can easily walk to it but the hotel is not overwhelmed by it (the mobs of tourists, the noise, etc.). When...

Stayed here one night. This is my second visit to this hotel. Staff goes above and beyond. Helpful and so very pleasant. Loved the brownie and the free iced tea! And really loved the free appetizers at 5pm! Not a big room but the space is used well and you'll have all you need. Hotel located near theater diistrict. Highly...

We stayed at the Distrikt Hotel for 4 nights at the end of a trip around the USA. On arrival, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and even resorted to comedy by way of contrition when one of them mistook my New Zealand accent for Australian. A nice touch is the chilled beverages in the lobby - most welcome...

We were extremely impressed by the service of Distrikt Hotel. The font desk attendant did a great job helping us orient ourselves to NYC, since it was our first time there. He even remembered our names when we returned to the lobby at different times. My husband got a blister on his foot from walking around so much and they...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
