Hotel's Favorite
Great location for Broadway shows. There is no real dining on site and the room was not up to Hilton standards. The staff is very friendly and helpful and would recommend this hotel on just the staff alone.

Not sure how this hotel has gotten a 4 and a half rating. My dorm college room was more luxurious than the “upgraded” room I received. Bed is soft , pillows hard. Room overlooks the roof mechanical systems. Lamps are lopsided and basic furnishings. I thought Canopy was a upper upscale brand?

Arrived super early on a Sunday snd understandably no rooms available but they did store my luggage so I was grateful. I arrived late THST evening to check in and the agent was very pleasant. We got to the room and it’s small but had everything need and the view was perfect. There were no bath towels so I had to run down to front desk to get two. He apologized gave me one and then brought another one to the room. The cordless phone was not working, I reported it upon departure. Hotel is close to everything but area is not most desirable it’s right next to port authority.

Not a very nice accommodation and the mandatory $20 charge for bar food/drink was disingenuous and unexpected. No complimentary coffee was also an alarming deficit. The room was quite small and very much like a motel

This hotel sits across the street from the Port Authority Bus terminal clustered among 3 other hotels. The street is not well lit and does not seem safe - you definitely need to be aware of your surroundings when walking to or from the hotel at night. The lobby is quite small and not very welcoming. While there is an additional mandatory fee it is unclear why since there are so special amenities. The deluxe room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Be sure to ask for an upper floor to minimize street noise.

To celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday, I took her to NYC to do some shopping and eating. We picked this hotel because of its great reviews and close proximity to many NYC sights. When we first arrived (2/18 evening), we were greeted by very pleasant front desk staff. That evening, we went down to the bistro to get a snack and use the food coupon. The staff at the bistro was not great. First, we ordered a pretzel appetizer and waited several minutes before she says they were out of it. Why not tell us ahead of time? Snack options and menu was minimal and poor. We checked out early (2/19) and kept our luggage at the front desk. The luggage assistant was great along with the morning front desk staff. But then when we came back to add to our luggage check, that front desk person was rude. Restaurant attendant in the afternoon was also rude. I would say the stay was a 3/5. The positives were some friendly staff, great location and clean rooms. The negatives were food options, bistro rude staff and some rude front desk staff.…

We stayed here for 7 days at the beginning of December. Location great, room not the largest but functional and spotlessly clean, Small bar/breakfast room from which you could get snacks and drinks, very handy. What is exceptional though is the staff, they always go the extra mile, with great politeness and friendlyness. I can not praise them all enough. Thank you all. Lorenzo and Tina Guerrini. England.

The check in was easy, the staff friendly and responsive. The room was fine, but the shower door design was a little difficult to maneuver without get hit with water before you're ready to get in. I liked that there was a magnifier mirror in the bathroom, but I always think rooms are too dark and could use more lighting in the room. That said, the desk lamp was very good for work.

Diamond perk upgrade to top level is great until the elevator goes out. Walked up 32 flights of stairs with bags and a 12 year old. Food takes a while and don't get the wings. I usually play it safe with a burger when I'm on the road, hungry with slow service. The rooms are nice, good views but great location!
