This hotel is in a great mid-town location, easy walking distance to Times Square, Garment District, Bryant Park, Koreatown, Penn Station, and Grand Central Station. And quite affordable for NYC! Granted, this being New York and real estate being prime, one can barely swing kitty 'round by the tail without grazing its whiskers against a wall, but for all that,...

Centrally located and very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The subway stop was close by. We felt safe walking around late at night in the area. The hotel was great. Slightly small rooms but that's standard for NYC. Lift wasa bonus! Absolutely amazing staff. Breakfast was plentiful but space was cramped. Would definitely book again.

The hotel is located convenient to Penn Station, Time Square, Bryant Park and near Fifth Avenue. Most of the midtown sightseeing places are within walking distance. And as all the other Fairfield Inn hotels, it offers free breakfast, it is definitely a big plus for people who just want to spend one night in Manhattan to experience the big city...

I reserved hotel through Marriot Portal. I Traveled with my Wife. We arrived and were welcomed by Daniel who is a very helpful guy. We got to our room. It was a small room, NYC style. When we tried to unpack, we found that there is NO room for more than 2 shirts. Closet is so small that with my...

Location is convenient as it is close in walking proximity to Grand Central, sightseeing and shopping. Particularly Times Square and Bryant Park. I am a rewards member and generally pretty loyal to Marriott. We generally travel as a family of three and while we have stay at a wide range of hotel styles and classes, our needs are pretty simple...

This hotel is perfect for those who like to stay near Times square. Few blocks walk and you are in Times square. Property itself is trendy and every available space has been used in prefect way. Rooms are small but kind of cozy and you will not feel that you are missing anything. It's just that you will not have...

I am a Marriott Rewards Platinum Elite member, who is used to staying in upscale Marriott properties (especially the Renaissance brand). Since NYC is so expensive, and this was a personal trip (i.e, the office wasn't paying), I decided to stay here solely based on price - and found a gem!! The hotel is on 37th St, between 5th &...

The staff: this is one of those hotels where the staff is small and the really isn't an office, so the manager is generally helping work the front desk. The manager was great. I complained about my first room and he moved us to another room right away. He was also helpful giving us directions to places we wanted to...

1st came here 3 years ago and when we revisited NYC again, there was no need to search for other hotels and it was as awesome as we remembered it to be.. In-house breakfast was good... Our halal food cart is just around the corner.. Minutes away from the subway & shopping is just a block away.. Perfect!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
