Rooms were spacious…. Great room rate …. Bed was hard and to low to the ground…. Close to Statue of Liberty and 9/11 memorial Staten Ferry Island … overall A- I would definitely stay at this hotel again
Excessive dog pee around the hotel, especially at the hotel entrance, make access to the hotel rather unpleasant, dirty, smelly and unhygienic. Very old, worn-out corridor carpets are full of very large black spots that make them look as if the hotel just had a major fire put out by firemen. Thus, the hotel, while perfectly located and with reasonable large rooms, is not easily accessible without getting dirty and feeling that one is going to a dilapidated place. Hotel management, when informed about these concerns on several occasions of past visits, have tended to routinely dismiss them.
Just stayed for a mini weekend trip but was really impressed with how beautiful and clean this hotel was. The service was top tier and it is in a beautiful location a walk away from activities in Seaport and conveniently located near the 1/2/3 train lines. Have stayed at a few big hotel chains in the city but none like this one. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful room and nice staff. Had some trouble keeping the room cool, but could open the window. Layout was very interesting and new. Bathroom was fabulous - want that for my home! Bed was lower than normal - fine for me but oldsters might want to think about that.
If you're tired of tiny rooms of most Manhattan hotels, Hyatt Wall st will come as pleasant change for you. Rooms are spacious with big windows & high ceilings. Bathrooms are The Best - with big tubs and rain showers. We had a suite & a standard room. Staff is super nice. Albert on front desk went extra mile to meet our needs. Everyone from front desk to restaurant was courteous - a rarity in the city. I loved to chill in the new beautiful lounge on 2nd floor with complimentary coffee & wine they offer to all guests.
While I was here, I wound up breaking my toe. I became a hobble foot. The staff at the hotel, unabashedly became my caretakers. The staff. Was already so kind, but in a pinch, they became my saviors. Sending ice to the room, clearing deliveries for me, and everything else. Top notch. Would recommend staying here again.
so low key but high end, everyone was so nice , rooms up to date and clean, loft like feeling, bathrooms so nice but a bit dark for an older person who has to apply makeup, complimentary drink at bar, parking voucher nice at lot next door
Way too expensive for nothing special! Most hotels I have stayed in have a coffee pot in the room or a glass to rinse your mouth out with after you brush your teeth. This expensive hotel had neither and the restaurant breakfast was outrageously expensive and not at all that good. I’m sorry the people who work there were excellent and over the top nice but the quality of the hotel does not meet the price that we paid
Travel to hotel once per year during the same time. Unfortunately, Covid placed a halt on my visits the last two years. The room once was once stocked with drink. Its now empty now and void of a single water bottle. The marble bathroom walls were dirty and contained marked. Its obvious the walls have not been cleaned in a long time. Lastly, the bathroom sink was clogged and water would sit there for hours. Once this was my go to place every year but I feel that it might be time for a change for a hotel that values my money.
We stayed for three nights and we were very happy with our stay. Hotel was nice, clean and quiet. Location was not that far from some good restaurants and very close to bus stops that can bring you uptown. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Was able to help us find our way around town and answer any questions we may have.
