Me and group of 20 business students from Copenhagen are staying at the Cassa hotel and Mr. Manuel provided us with great service during stay. Can highly recommend to everyone. Great accessibility to Times Square and midtown. Thank you Cassa. Petr
Me and a friend were looking for hotels near by and we saw The Mave. Once we arrived Jessica greeted us and checked us in. Jessica made us feel so welcomed she was nice, friendly and professional. She explained all the amenities the hotel had to offer in great detail. The hotel was so nice and clean and our room was perfect. I will definitely come back to The Mave because of the way we were treated and how beautiful it was. Thank you Jessica for this wonderful experience hope to see you next time I check in!!!
I had the most amazing customer service experience here. Jose at the front desk answered the phone on the first ring when I called to make an inquiry before I even checked in and answered my question but what really impressed me was how friendly he was , describing amenities of the hotel and nearby attractions , never sounding rushed or impatient . I’m so used to people acting as if I’m interrupting their day when I ask questions but Jose so professional. When I arrived to check in it was very late and I was tired but he and Travis were an effective team , getting me checked in yum quickly: making sure I had everything I would need, it was a treat to deal with these guys . The room was spacious and clean , with modern and sophisticated amenities but what a fantastic host Jose was. I’ll be back next month and I will stay here again because of how well I was treated…
I booked a night at the MAve hotel via what looked like a legitimate website and received confirmation from the hotel of my reservation. When I showed up to check in I was shocked to find that it is not a real hotel and had to scramble to find a hotel in NYC!
I was in NY last moth i have the best experience in the mave hotel is great the staff is always taking care of your needs the location is very good the rooms are modern very clean is a super option if you are planning to go to the big apple you get much more than you expected Really recommend
Maybe they were having a bad week, but,,, Check-in was chaotic despite being the only people in line. No towels when we arrived. My co-worker's towels were never brought up. When she called down they said to come down to the front desk and get them herself. Iron broke. Crazy noises all night - literally screaming and people banging on doors. Street noise. VERY misleading website - (Velour bathrobe? Breakfast? HAHA!!). Random, rough-looking people hanging out in the lobby at all hours. Good location. Bed was fine. Would not stay again.
I stayed at The MAve in August of 2016. I stayed only one night while I was in town for business. The hotel is in a good enough location- pretty quiet compared to other places in the Flatiron District. The Front Desk: Staff wasn't overly friendly but this doesn't really impact my opinion of a hotel. They checked me in and that's really all I needed them to do. They do offer complimentary bottle of water at the front desk, and there is a nightly wine happy hour in the lobby. The Room: Very small but good enough for 1 person or a couple. The bed and pillows were NOT comfortable. It took me forever to fall asleep. The air conditioner would allow you to raise the temperature but would not allow you to lower the temperature. The room ended up getting a little too warm and there wasn't anything I could do about it. The sheets were very scratchy. The Location: Good if you need access to midtown, flatiron, etc.…
Made a reservation at the MAve hotel and needed to make changes and the staff and manager made me feel as if we were old friends. They made my changes and send confirmation to me before I got off the phone. The staff and management are excellent and extremely helpful. I would recommend the MAve hotel to anyone going to NYC. It is a must stay place.
This is quite possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. The pictures are a 100% mis-leading. I have traveled all through Japan and still never stayed in a space that was this small and uncomfortable. For breakfast you get a piece of fruit and a tea, not really breakfast in my opinion. They have no where to store your bags so if you arrive early, guess what..... you're carting them around. The room didn't get cleaned and you had to pay for fresh towels and toilet paper. We also came back to our room one evening and the door was half open…..very weird seeing as they don’t clean your room…..
The rooms are tiny and the breakfast was horrible. We ended up relocating to the Ace Hotel for the same price and got much better service and accommodation. Simply put, I would not recommend staying here.
