Another excellent Kimpton stay! We loved the Chelsea location. Our room was clean, comfortable, and unexpectedly spacious. Kathy from housekeeping went out of her way to keep up with our week-long visit...leaving fun notes, and even an extra treat! Service all around was exceptional. My husband and son especially enjoyed chatting with Dino, and the gracious doormen and valets!

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eventi over MDW! The room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building and was very clean and well kept. The staff were on-point throughout and very courteous through our stay - the service we received from Dino was notably amazing. He was very friendly and quick to take care of our bags and help us with directions several times during our stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Frequently stay at the Eventi, but was motivated to submit a review specifically for my most recent stay to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, especially Celine. She was exceptionally friendly and warm, and efficiently accommodated my somewhat complex reservation needs.

Never had a hotel ever not honor a reservation. The hotel started by letting us know that even though our membership entities to upgrades when available, that was not possible. Then they told us they did not have any more rooms that fit our confirmed reservation. But if we still wanted a room they could make room for us if we agreed to pay for an upgrade. Then they could magically find us a room. I guess that is their definition of taking care of their valued members.

I just stayed there with my parents who are in their 80s. Dino was SO nice to us - carried our luggage, helped us to the car, asked about our day, etc. Most importantly, he treated my parents with respect, grace, and patience. I’m so appreciative.

I was here on a work visit and was initially given 2205. Check in was smooth, and available at noon for me (possibly because it was through my company). The room itself was great, clean and comfortable. However, this room shared a wall with the maintenance elevator and was subject to repeated thumping souds, possibly from the elevator doors. I asked to be relocated, and was then given a room on the 16th floor, where I happily spent the next few days. With a view of the Empire State building, the room was extremely comfortable. The washroom was stocked with the basics and were sufficient for me. The safe worked well and proved to be quite useful since I wasn't keen on carrying anything more than 1 credit card when heading out. 1 thing to note: I was provided snacks from my company, but the staff assumed I had made use of the minibar and charged me for the items. However, they did resolve this almost instantly, but this is more of an FYI. With a max 30 min walk time to Times Square, this hotel made for a great stay, especially if you plan on catching a broadway show or want to go to The Edge.

I have stayed at the Eventi multiple times and it has always been a pleasant experience. The hotel has a great vibe and is in a great location in Chelsea - walking distance to Penn Station and multiple subway lines so you can get anywhere you need without a taxi. Rooms are decent sized and the beds are very comfortable. I had a nice view this time. Other times I’ve stayed here I didn’t, but instead of staring at the city from the window your should be out in it anyway! Only complaint I have is not with the Eventi, but with most NYC hotels— resort/amenity fees are getting absolutely ridiculous. Those ‘amenities’ used to be included. These ‘required’ fees are just a poorly veiled attempt to suck more money from travelers. It’s a scourge on the industry.

Room Tip: They have a nightly wine reception for guests. Ask at the desk where it will be each day.

The hotel is very well located on the 6th ave. the room we had was very clean, on the upper floors, so the view was wonderful. The bed was a piece from heaven. the cleaning staff was responsive and attentive. the doormen were smiling, the reception staff were not very welcoming, a bit cold and condescending except one of frontdesk managers (tall and thin). Next to the hotel, there are shops for small groceries, small restaurants which is very practical. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this hotel - the room was wonderful & the ability to have parking so close made it easy coming from Boston. Restaurants on site were good too! I also had an awesome experience with Melvin at the front desk recently. I needed a folio post stay for my company expense & I was having trouble getting it (seems like it was an email issue on my side). He made sure I got it & was patient in sending it to 3 different email addresses. Saved the day for me & was upbeat and happy to do so! Feels like they really care about their guests. Valet team was great too!

A lovely hotel, great room (paid for an upgrade to a King Suite) as travelling with 2 x kids. The fold out bed wasn’t that comfortable for an adult but fine for kids. Location good for getting around however quite close to a grotty area where you would get the train. After reading how friendly the staff are I found quite the opposite. I found them extremely unwelcoming. When we arrived at 4:30pm the room wasn’t ready and we had barely an apology, kids were exhausted and I had bad travel sickness and needed a glass of water. I was told to go across the street and buy some from 7/11!!! USBs didn’t work on my side of the bed and engineer was unable to fix. Jet bath didn’t work. They booked me a transfer to JFK, very expensive and the driver wanted more money as paying in card which was not told about. They charged and extra $20 for booster seats. The breakfast downstairs was really good and worked out to be good value when sharing with the kids. We didn’t have breakfast included. Overall the room was a good size and comfortable, however let down by the unfriendly staff
