Great hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Very large rooms for a city hotel. My room was clean and well appointed. Loved the huge shower. Excellent gym. Great coffee in the morning. Friendly staff. Close to everything in Manhattan. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary. Victoria, the manager, was very helpful and professional, she upgraded our room to corner deluxe one to help us feel the atmosphere of NYC. Views from 23rd floor are stunning! Hotel stuff is very attentive and friendly, housekeepers are always smiling. The hotel is located in the center of everything, so we had a chance to explore Brooklyn and Upper Manhattan. Coffee shop on first floor is amazing, we never had an opportunity to explore the restaurant, but I’m pretty sure it’s nice as well. And wanted to say the design of this hotel - I loved it.
The Kimpton hotel came highly recommended by my siblings who frequently stay here when traveling in New York and San Diego. Let me tell you, it was the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at visiting New York and everyone working here made the stay 1000x times better. The room had a view of the Empire State Building (not shown in pic) and the restaurant down stairs had the best lemon ricotta pancakes I’ve ever had. Jennifer assisted us with our check in and was very attentive throughout our stay, definitely ask for her when you book your next stay. The best part was they do ask for a key card to enter the hotel after a certain time which made us feel very safe by the security, book the Kimpton Eventi for your next stay!
We booked about 20 rooms here for our daughter’s wedding. Excellent team members—from the front desk, to the super friendly and helpful doormen, and group sales reps! The rooms are above average and spacious (for NYC) centrally located and the hotel has a nice bar and dining options. The only thing I would note is that we did book a lot of rooms and I felt as though something nice could have been done for the bride and groom suite. There was no thoughtful gesture - champagne, a box of chocolates, flowers just a token. We’ve stayed at a lot of Kimptons so I was a little surprised—chalking it up to Covid—still impacting staff #’s that’s why I still have 5 stars.
A perfect place to stay in NYC, conveniently located near Penn Station and in the heart of Midtown. I loved how the hotel curated the lobby, restaurant, hallways, and bathrooms with beautiful art and art installations. The bathroom in the restaurant is one of the coolest bathrooms I've seen. The room was super open and had floor-to-ceiling windows where you can sit and watch the happenings of NYC below and look up to see the Empire State Building. Comfy bed and great amenities in the room as well. I loved the wine happy hour each day from 5-6!
The hotel staff are great and always super accommodating to guest needs. We had many people staying at the Kimpton from around the world and they could not stop talking about how great this place is. The door staff are so nice and will literally save your life. The bikers on the bike lane will run you over and not even stop. If Alex was not there to help I would have gotten hit by a speeding cyclist. My Hero Alex! Thank you again for saving me!
I just had to leave a glowing review about the experience I’m having at The Eventi- I needed a quick room for a last minute work trip and managed expectations. Not because of the hotel- I had heard great things and eaten at the fantastic restaurant before- but because I grabbed a last minute room via Hotel Tonight and was prepared to take anything available. I go to check in and am greeting by the delightful Emily M who couldn’t have been lovelier, made excellent suggestions about other local things to check out and took care of all of my needs within minutes. She even graciously upgraded me- something you don’t often find on a last minute booking, much less when booking via third party. I’m currently getting ready for my event in an absolutely beautiful and well appointed room, incredibly well lit bathroom, with every detail thought out- from steamers and irons for those of us busy travelers to in room Yoga Mats for those who are lucky enough to have a few minutes to focus on R&R or exercise. The room is also staying blissfully cool during a record heat wave in NYC- a little but incredibly important detail. Emily M was also sure to point out additional features such as cocktail hours, coffee and tea bars and such which give this hotel an added boost in my opinion. I would also add that the proximity to local transit hubs and attractions should be a bonus for most. Definitely add this to your list, I will absolutely be back!…
I'm a 'regular' business traveler. I appreciate and enjoy a good hotel that is there when I need it (minibar, restaurant, breakfast) and not there when I don't (ability to hold off cleaning staff, choose to get text notifications or not). Room on the 16th floor was quiet, comfortable and modern. Yaya and Emily at the front desk did a fantastic job of noting how I travel, and took care of me. Stayed in NYC quite a bit, and this is my new go-to down in the Flatiron.
Cleanest hotel I have ever been to m, hands down. Victoria, the manager was extremely attentive and wanted to make sure I had the best stay. If your staying there I suggest getting a suite with a oversized bathroom and shower. Overall great place to stay and I highly recommend
The Kimpton Hotel Eventi is modern, chic, and stunning! Everything from the central location, the welcoming staff, and the luxurious hotel amenities made my stay and experience in NYC incredible! The rooms are very spacious with the most gorgeous city views! There's almost no need to leave the hotel given the AMAZING lobby restaurant, L'Amico! I also highly recommend ending your day with an amazing cocktail by the fireplace at The Vine!
